I have made a mini art journal:
I started off with Distress Inks and a blending tool. I used three colours: Pumice Stone, Evergreen Bough and Wild Honey. When I was happy I put a stencil on top and sprayed water through it and then mopping it up with a piece of kitchen paper. You get a lovely subtle pattern like this. Next I stamped the background; I used the same Distress Inks and Archival ink in the colour Watering Can which is a nice grey.
Next I stamped the stars with black Archival ink on the journal page and on some book texts. The book text ones were cut out and adhered onto the ones on the page. I still thought it needed more white so I then stamped the spiral and heat embossed them with white WOW embossing powder.
I was then happy with how it looked.
Next I stamped the man with the moustache and coloured him with my Copics, cut him out and adhered him on his spot on the page. The last think I did was type the sentiment and adhere it to the page and doodle around it with a black pen.
That was it !
