Crazy bunny dance !!!!

Hello fellow Stampers,

The lovely Renee Zarate just pointed out to me that my card is on the COVER !!!! of Stampington's The Stampers Sampler. Doing a crazy bunny dance here !!!!! My first ever publication. I don't know what is in the magazine yet because I haven't got it yet. But here is a little taster :

Sooo happy !!!

Viva Las VegasStamps! DT Tryout.

Hello fellow Crafters,

Whoohoo ! I was sooooo excited when I read that Viva Las VegaStamps were looking for 8 new DT members. I tried before and wasn't chosen so I thought I give it another go. They want three projects and I made these with mainly VLVS! stamps. I don't own many so I had to use some others too.

This first one is a little art journal using some of the recently released Banksy Stamps. The background was made with a gelli print.

This second one is a postcard, made with another gelli print, and some more VLVS! Stamps. (The little girl and the 'surprise' are VLVS!)

This is the third project and this is a tag which I painted with acrylic paint. I used some patterned paper and bits of gelli print for the circles. The image is from the Banksy VLVS! plate.

Thank you for stopping by !!!

Hope you like it.... and I hope I get in !

Happiness

Hello fellow Crafters,

And again it is Wednesday. Doesn't time fly !

Today's Challenge on the Stampotique Designers' Challenge blog was set by the lovely Samantha.
She chose 'pink, turquoise and polkadots' as a theme and this is what she said :

"I'm so excited to be sharing with you my love for polka dots. Almost every thing I own is dotty!

Polka dots are great fun as a main feature or as a delicate accent to artwork. My other love is my favourite colour combination, pink and turquoise. So for this weeks challenge I'm inviting you to have fun with my favourite things: Pink, Turquoise and Polka Dots! I can't wait to see your creations, so get your rubber out and have lots of fun creating :)"

Why not have a go as well. You could win $30,-- of those wonderful stamps at the end of the month. The only rules are : only one entry per person and no digi stamps.

This is my take on her challenge :

Recently I have been trying out my Gelli Plate which I bought in February when we were in the US on holiday. The background was one of the prints and I glued it down in my journal cutting off the excess around the edges. I added polkadots in turquoise, pink and white and did some background stamping. I used some India Ink to splatter. Next I drew the lines along the edges.
I then thought I would add more polka dots so I die cut some big ones and coloured them with Spun Sugar DI, edging them with Picked Raspberry DI. I glued them down and used the same background stamp to give them some more interest.
Next I stamped 'Underwhere' on white card and coloured him with Copics, clear embossed him and cut him out. I stood him on some washi tape on the page. I then thought it would be nice to use some more of this washi tape, so I stuck some on some paper and die cut some more of those circles. So now I have polka dotted-polkadots.... I stamped the sentiment on another bit of gelli print and adhered it on top of some more of the same washi tape.

I used the following Stampotique stamps :
Fax to Wolfgang (for the background)

Fragile

Hello fellow Crafters,

I didn't have much time today so I only made this card. I will enter this into the Art Impressions Challenge which is 'Cute as a Button'....

I cut a piece of pattern paper slightly smaller then the card and adhered it. I then cut out another piece of pattern paper, the turquoise/green flowers and matted it on black card stock, wrapped a bit of black organza ribbon around and adhered that too to the card. I then stamped Sylvia from the Golden Oldies series on white card stock and coloured her with Copic Markers. I matted her on black card stock too. The sentiment was also stamped on white card stock and matted on black. I arranged it on the card and added the button with a bit of bakers twine.

Clockwork heart

Hello fellow Crafters,

and happy Wednesday to you. Teamie Kathy set the challenge over at the Stampotique blog today and she wants us to make a steampunk piece. This is what she said :

"Steampunk is an inspired movement of creativity and imagination. With a backdrop of either Victorian England or America’s Wild West at hand, modern technologies are re-imagined and realized as elaborate works of art, fashion, and mechanics. If Jules Verne or H.G. Wells were writing their science fiction today, it would be considered “steampunk.”"

My challenge to you is to create a Steampunk project using your stamps and your imagination!

This was quite a challenge for me. Although I really like Steampunk it is not something I do very often. But after a while I came up with this :

I started with a #12 tag which I painted with silver acrylic paint. I then rubbed a versa mark pad over a few places and embossed it with silver embossing powder. After that cooled I glued some book text over the embossed places and rubbed the book paper with a silver ink pad I found at the bottom of a box. I then aged the whole thing by using a blending tool with black Archival ink.
I then used a Tim Holtz stencil, again with black Archival ink for the clocks.
I stamped 'Fofe' on white card stock and coloured him with Copics, clear embossed the image and then cut it out. I adhered him to the tag and went on the internet to find a steampunk saying. I used sticky letters on acetate to spell the sentiment and stapled it to the tag.
Fofe's goggles and clockwork heart were embellishments I had in my stash. I glued them onto Fofe with Glossy Accents.
I then stole some metal washers from my husband's stash (he builds model aeroplanes) and put them on the tag with brads.
Lastly I matted the whole thing on black card stock and put a ribbon through the hole, on which I hung a metal key with a safety pin.

The Wizard of Oz, the continuing story ...

Hello fellow Crafters,

I did another art journal with a Wizard of Oz theme today. I am really enjoying doing these, can you tell ??

I painted the page with gesso first and then with blue and green paint. I then coloured some typing paper with Distress Inks in the rainbow colours and cut out the circles with my Cuttlebug. I arranged them on the page until I was happy with it. Next I adhered them with gel medium, carefully as it makes the ink move again. I then used my Faber Castell Big Brush markers and shaded the circles and the sky around it. The india ink in these markers can be moved on a non-porous surface for a short while. I used two stamps for the background : Fax to Wolfgang and Folded tags. I used the Big Brush markers to stamp as well. Just scribbled on the stamps and stamped !!

I stamped Bushes directly on the page using Stazon, sort of between the green and the blue and coloured them as well with the Big Brush markers.  Next I stamped Dorothy, also with Stazon directly on the page and another time with Memento on white card stock. I coloured her with Copic Markers, clear embossed her, cut her out and adhered her on top of her twin on the page. Lastly I (hand)wrote the text on the left page.

Once upon a time....

Hello fellow Crafters,

I made a tag today. I like to play along at the Tag Along Challenge blog. This week the theme is Children and was set by Deb. I decided to use one of my childhood photos.

I used a Gelli print for the background but did some additional stamping and doodling. I also took it to the sewing machine and did some stitching.
I cut out me from the photo and adhered some butterfly wings from my stash behind me. I then glued the picture together with the wings on the tag after putting down some washi tape to stand me on. I used the new Alpha Stamps from Stampotique to stamp the sentiment. Next I matted the tag on black card stock, put a ribbon through which I secured with a staple and that was that !

Postcard give away !

Hello fellow Crafters,

Also today I made a postcard to give away ! If you want it,  all you have to do is leave a comment and I will pick a winner on Wednesday the 21st of May. I will then send this postcard to the winner  !!! It could be you !!!

I painted this card with acrylic paints in blue and white. I then used a circle punch, my gelli prints and a bit of pattern paper to punch these circles which were adhered to the card with gel medium. Next I used a bottle cap and some black acrylic paint to stamp the rings and also splattered some of the paint on the card. (I seem to be addicted to splattering these days). Then I stamped the text with "Fax to Wolfgang" and Stazon Ink. The next thing was stamping the dogs on white card stock, colouring them with Copics and adhering them to the card with gel medium. That finished the postcard.

Thanks for stopping by !

Stampotique Tuesday on Wednesday !

Hello fellow Crafters,

Yesterday Coby set a new challenge over at the Craftorij FB page.  She wants us to use a stencil and of course some Stampotique stamps. I made a little journal page :

I started with the stencil. this is a doily stencil from TCW. I used two shades of Distress Ink; Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean. I stamped the Barcode and Barcode text using Versafine. I also stamped the Tweedles on the page with the same ink. Next I drew the doodle around the page and stamped the Tweedles on a bit of white card stock. I coloured them, clear embossed them and cut them out. I adhered them on top of the stamped image on the page. That was it !

Just for you..

Hello fellow Crafters,

and happy Wednesday to you. Today's challenge was set by Kaz and she wants us to use a tag. This is what she said :

'I love using tags on things I make, so my challenge is simple: whatever you make, put a tag on it. You can make a tag for the challenge, but it has to have a tag on it!!'

Why not play along with us, you never know you might win $30,- worth of those yummie stamps. Just remember, only one entry and no digis.

So here is my project for this week, it is a card:

I used a piece of watercolour paper that I coloured with Pan Pastels in Orange and yellow. I used orange Archival Ink to stamp the text in the background. I then sponged around the edges and stencilled the polka dots with red (Barn Door) Distress Ink. I took it to the sewing machine and stitched around the edges with red thread. Lastly I finished the background by black rings and splatters and some white dots.
I stamped the heart on the tag and again on pattern paper. I shaded the heart on the pattern paper, splattered it with black ink and cut it out. I adhered it to the label. I went around the label with a black marker and put some white rick rack thorough the hole. I then adhered the label to the card with dimensional adhesive and stamped the 'just for you' underneath.
I used the following Stampotique stamps : Fax to Wolfgang (background), My Heart and Barcode Text.

Something completely different...

Hello fello Crafters,

Today I fancied doing something totally different. I have been wanting to do a canvas for ages and today was the day. A while ago I watched Andy Skinner doing his 'Splash and Image Transfer Video' and loved the canvas he did. You can watch it HERE. I didn't have all the materials and decided to to it my way.. By the way, the image of Twiggy can be downloaded for free from Andy's website. Thanks Andy.

I started with a 30 x 40 cm canvas and painted it using blue and white paint. I kept the area where her head was going to be very light. I then die cut lots of circles from my Gelli prints but I also used one pattern paper from Basic Gray (Out of Print). I adhered the circles to the canvas using gel medium. I then used different size tops from spray bottles and some watered down black paint to make the rings around the circles. I also splattered some black India Ink around. Next I used a blue Faber Castell Big Brush pen to darken the edges of the canvas. I then had to think of a way to get Twiggy on the canvas. Yes, up to then I didn't know whether this was actually going to work. Anyway, I had a rummage and found a box of T-Shirt transfer paper. Must have been in the drawer for at least 15 years. So I printed Twiggy on one of the transfer sheets, cut around her head and then used a clothes iron to put in on the canvas. It worked but not very well as the image wasn't solid black but a bit blotchy so I used a Faber Castel Pitt pen to colour over the black areas of the image and when that was done I used the same blue Big Brush pen to darken the area around her head a bit. Finally I sealed everything with a coat of mat varnish.

The continuing story of the Wizard of Oz....

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I did another art journal in my Wizard of Oz series. I really love these stamps and today it was Dorothy and Toto's turn.....

First I gessoed the pages and while the gesso was still wet I used yellow, green and blue to give them a bit of colour. I let that dry. I then used a TCW stencil and used yellow, green and blue Distresss Inks to create a bit of a border. I used 'Folded Tags' as a background stamp with grey Stazon. I also used my cookie cutter and black India Ink to make the 'rings' and to splatter on the page. I stamped Dorothy and Toto on white card stock, coloured them with Copics, clear embossed them and glued them on the page on some washi tape. The sentiment came from the internet and was made with the computer. I used my Faber Castell Big Brush pens to frame the sentiment in yellow, greens and blues and doodled around it as well with a black Pitt pen. That was it !

Altered envelope

Hello fellow Crafters,

Over at the Roc Nicholas Rubber Stamp Facebook page there is an altered envelope swap. I had never before done an altered envelope. I have embellished an envelope to make it more interesting but that was it. So here is my first ever altered envelope:

This is the front, I painted it with yellow, green and blue acrylic paint. Did the stamping and then coloured the stamps with Faber Castell Big Brush Markers. I also did a bit of doodling. Lastly I covered it with 2 coats of gel medium. I have two more pictures, one of the front with the 'address bubble' and one from the back.

I used the following Roc Nicholas Stamps (all available at www. Stampotique.com)

Thank you card...

Hello fellow Crafters,

My mother did something really nice for me and my husband and I wanted to say thank you,  so I made her this thank you card. I chose this bird because at the moment my mum is watching a pair of Blue tits feeding their young in a nesting box she has hanging on the wall of her balcony and she is really enjoying that.

I took a white card blank and stencilled the pattern on it with 'Faded Jeans' Distress Ink. I then doodled around the edge. I love this type of border and seem to be a bit addicted to them at the moment. I then cut another piece of paper and stamped the bird on it together with the sentiment. I then stamped the bird in another piece of card stock and coloured it with Copics, clear embossed it and cut it out. Next I adhered the bird onto the stamped image on the paper. I also wrapped some black and white bakers twine around and tied it in a bow. I adhered this little panel to the card with dimensional adhesive. That was it !

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it.... (and hope my mum likes it too !)

Cheers..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Also today I made this quick art journal with a gelli print background:

I cut the gelli print to size so it fitted in my journal. I used my new "ripple' stamp again (Art Journey) to stamp over the background. I also used my bottle top to stamp the rings (also around the letters later). The '3 waiters' stamp is from Lost Coast Designs and I hadn't used it yet. I stamped them on white card stock with Versafine and clear embossed them. I then cut them out and adhered them to my page on some washi tape. The letters are from Stampotique and I stamped them on vellum, clear embossed them and punched them out with a circle punch. I then did the stitch lines around the outside and glued them on the page. Lastly I inked the edges of the page and adhered it into my journal.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it !!!

Comfortzone

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I went to town with hubby and had a nice lunch (yes, I did have a glass of red with that). When I came back I found another Round Robin journal in the mailbox. So I took it to my craft room and had a look at all the other journal spreads in the book. All of a sudden I had an idea and thought why not.... Here it is :

The background was made directly in the journal with green and yellow acrylic paint. I used my 'Ripple' (Art Journey) stamp and a stencil for the background. I also splattered some black India Ink on the pages. I stamped the birdcage and the barcode and text directly on the page. I then stamped the little winged creature on white card stock and stamped the cage over the top. I coloured, clear embossed and cut him out and glued him on the right spot on the cage so it looks like he is in there. The saying was stamped in vellum and clear embossed, I then stapled it to some green pattern paper and glued it on the page. Next I stamped the spider directly in the book and again on white card stock. I coloured him, clear embossed him and cut him out after which I adhered him to the image that was stamped on the page. I used mainly Stampotique stamps:

Birthday card

Hello fellow Crafters,

Lately I have been watching a lot of YouTube films made by Christine, her style is not quite mine but I really do like most of her cards. She is very precise and neat, like I try to be and one of her cards really attracted my attention.  You can watch the process of making this card HERE .
I liked this card so much that I 'card lifted' it. I usually don't copy peoples stuff but this one was so nice that I had to do it. So here's my version :

I used a stencil and a warm grey Distress Ink for the base. I then cut a bit of the same paper, stamped Goat Monster, one of Daniel's Hearts and Happy Birthday on this, coloured it all with Copics, also in Warm Grey and a bit of red. Lastly I wrapped the twine around, secured it with staples and put it on the card using dimensional adhesive.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it.....

Ooh la la....

Hello fellow Crafters,

It is Tag Along Thursday ! Yay ! Last week I ended in the top three with my seaside themed tag, yay ! So I couldn't not play this week.

The theme this week is Moulin Rouge so I had to get the girls out again, pardon the pun.....

For the background I used another bit of Gelli Print. So easy to have ready made backgrounds ! I glued it on a home made tag but not al the way down. I left some room for this fabulous floor (Perspectiver floor by Lost Coast Designs). If you are cleverer then me, you stamp first and then glue the gelli print on, duh ! Anyway I then stamped 'the girls' (Showgirls by Lost Coast Designs) on white card stock and also on the tag itself,   I cut the one on the card stock out and glued  the image on the tag, feet just a bit down on the floor. The lace in the top right hand corner and the sentiment are all rub ons. Next I inked the edges of the tag, stamped the harlequins with my home made stamp and white acrylic paint and the rings with a bottle top and Versafine ink. Lastly I put the ribbon through the hole and added the little metal heart.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it.....

Handle with care...

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today's Challenge was set by me and I would like you to use pink and orange in your background.
Now my mother used to tell me that orange and pink don't go together but because I am a rebel, I think they do !!!
So here is my project for this week :

I started with a piece of watercolour paper and sprayed it with Pink and Orange Dylusions Ink sprays. I did the ghosting technique with a stencil and then decided it was way too bright. So I dry brushed it with gesso; that was much better and you can still see the chevrons created with the ghosting. I used a stencil and pink and orange DI, and a harlequin stencil and gesso to create a bit more interest. The wonky rings were made with India Ink and a cookie cutter. I also used the India Ink to make some splatters. Lastly I used the 'Fax to Wolfgang' stamp and gray ink and I rubbed a black Archival Ink pad around the edges of the panel. I used two of the new release stamps, namely the barcode and the text above it. I stamped them on tissue paper and then adhered it to the panel because the watercolour paper has to much texture to stamp on properly.
'Little Hoo-hoo' was stamped on white paper, coloured and clear embossed. I cut him out and glued him on the panel above the barcode. Lastly I glued the panel on the card.

Hope you like it.....

Birthday card

Hello fellow Crafters,

Also today I made another card with the same image as the post below this on. I must say I do prefer this version:

I took a white card blank and smeared some blue paint (two tones) on it with my fingers. After that dried I used a stencil and model paste to put the flowers on. I thought that look pretty good. So I stamped Dog (Stampotique) on some white card stock, coloured him with copics, clear embossed him and cut him out. I adhered him on top of some washitape on a circle of vellum. I already did the stitch lines and the Happy Birthday (Stampotique)  stamp. And that was it...

Watercolour for card makers...

Hello fellow Crafters,

I while ago I won a place in an on-line course: Watercolour for card makers. The course's teachers are Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Jennifer Rzasa, and there are a whole lot of guest artists with Tim Holtz amongst others. So you can imagine I was quite excited when I heard I had won a place.
Anyway, the course started yesterday and, yes, I did my homework :

The first lesson was about watercolour backgrounds an I did the one where you put a stencil in the still wet paint, then you let it dry and you got a very interesting background.
I finished it off with a Stampotique stamp : Dog, on some vellum and a SSS stamp saying thanks. Lastly I doodled around the edge and glued some jewels on.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it.....

Tweet tweet....

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I finally used my new Dina Wakley Scribbly Birds stamps. They had been lying on my desk for ages and I kept looking at them. So I made this little art journal with one of them:

The background is a gelli print. I just used a chevron stencil and white ink (you can hardly see it) and a bottle top and some black ink for the circles and the splattering. I also did some sewing. I sometimes do sewing on the cards I make but on art journals it is new for me. I like the effect so I might do it more often. I stamped the bird and the 'tweet tweet' on white card stock. I coloured the bird with Copic Markers and clear embossed him. I cut him out and glued him on the washi tape that I stitched on the page. I doodled around the letters, cut them out and adhered them to my page. Lastly I adhered the page in my journal.

Thanks for stopping by !!

Give me the chocolate

Hello fellow Crafters,

I have made another art journal this afternoon. I still had a couple of Lost Coast Designs Stamps I hadn't used yet. So I decided to let the "boxer" out of the drawer. This is what I made :

The background colour of these pages was made with Pan Pastels. I used a few shades of yellow, some green and a tiny bit of blue. I used my new Art Journey "Ripple" stamp again. I love this stamp.  I used Peeled Paint (=green) Distress Ink to stamp it.
Next I stamped some script with grey Stazon; this turned out very subtle. Also I used a stencil with white and black ink to create a bit more interest. Next I used my white paint marker to splatter some white ink drops on the background.
I stamped 'boxer' on booktext; actually I stamped him quite a few times on different papers, with different inks until I decided which one looked the best. I put him on some washi tape. I used some more book text on the edges of the pages and under the word 'chocolate'.
The sentiment was made with sticky letters. I don't know where I got that from but it was probably the internet. (I have about 10 pages of quotes, mostly collected from the internet )

I see no reason to act my age

Hello fellow Crafters,

Over at the Art Impressions Blog the challenge is to make something masculine. Apart from that anything goes.... So here is my card :

I took a piece of white card stock and made it into a card. I glued some pattern paper (Basic Grey - Out of Print) on the bottom of the front of the card. Next I adhered a bit of white rick rack down to put 'Melvin' on. I then stamped the flags at the top of the card and stamped them again on the same pattern paper. The little flags were then cut out and adhered to the stamped image.
Melvin was stamped on white card stock, coloured with Copic Markers, clear embossed and cut out. I adhered him on his spot on the card. Lastly I printed the sentiment, doodled around the words and glued it on the card.

Birthday card

Hello fellow Crafters,

This week I saw that Art Journey already had the June issue of Craft Stamper. I ordered it from their webshop and found out that the minimum order should be 10,- Euros. So I thought I'd order a stamp; a girl can never have to many stamps, after all! I then saw that they have so many wonderful stamps, I will have to order some more soon.
Just before the magazine & stamp arrived I saw that they also do a Challenge. So I thought it would be a real challenge to do this challenge with only one Art Journey stamp. As the stamp that I ordered with the magazine was more of a background stamp I decided my to use the little free bird stamp that came taped to the magazine and a happy birthday stamp to finish the card. The theme of the challenge is "Tag on card".
So here is what I made :

I used a white card base and used some more white card stock to stamp my new stamp on. It is called "Ripple". I used yellow, orange, red and green Distress Inks for this. I then cut this slightly smaller then the card and matted it on black card stock. I made a little tag out of what was left and stamped the little free bird stamp and the birthday greeting on it. I also stamped the bird on white card stock, coloured it, clear embossed it and cut it out. Next I adhered the little bird on top of the stamped image on the tag. I also matted the tag on black card stock. The reinforcement ring on the tag was made out of the same black card stock. A green ribbon tied in a bow finished the label off. I attached it to the panel with dimensional tape and then adhered the panel to the card.

May Challenge

Hello fellow Crafters,

I love a challenge and when I saw this one I had to play. It is the May challenge from Viva Las Vegas Stamps. Now I don't have many of their stamps but decided to give it a go anyway.
I made this tag:

I used the following elements of the mood board they provided: flowers, inchworm green, script, circles, coral pink, black and white and a zetangly doodle... Apart from that I used model paste with a harlequin stencil, acrylic paint, distress ink, washi tape, some ribbon, black and white markers and last but not least the 'running lady 'Running lady stamp.

Proof of fun

Hello fellow Crafters,

Last Tuesday Coby, over at the Craftorij FB page, set us a challenge to make something with the theme 'Joy' using Stampotique stamps.
I made this tag :

Again I used a background made with the Gelli Plate. I cut it into the shape of a tag and started stamping. First I stamped the 'Proof of fun' (Barcode text) and the 'Barcode' straight on the tag with Versafine which I clear embossed, not because I like that better but because this ink takes ages to dry. I then stamped 'Smile' on white card stock, coloured him, clear embossed him and cut him out. I stamped him directly on the tag as well, to get the little details around his head. I then adhered the cut out one on top of the one on the tag.  Next, I doodled the border around the edge and used 'fax to Wolfgang' and grey Stazon to give a bit more interest to the background. To finish it off I stamped a heart from 'Daniels hearts', coloured & clear embossed it and cut it out. I adhered it to the tag and drew the string to the top. Lastly I matted the tag on black card stock and put the ribbon through which I secured with staples.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it....

I do like to be beside the seaside..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Over at the Tag Along Challenge blog the theme is 'By the seaside'. I had fun this afternoon making this tag for it:

I used another of my recently made Gelli Prints for the background. It is really great to have ready made backgrounds on hand.... Oops, I am getting lazy... I cut a tag out of the print and used three stamps from a set from Crafty Individuals. The water ripples, the sentiment and the seagulls. The lady in her trendy swimsuit with matching hat is from Lost Coast Designs. I just had to remove the original lady from the ripples to be able to put this one in. Also I had to cut her legs off. She is still wearing socks and shoes in the full image ! I stamped the ripples straight on the tag and used two blue Faber Castell Big Brush markers to create the water around it. The seagulls were also stamped straight on the tag and I used a white paint pen to highlight them.
The lady was stamped on white card stock, coloured, clear embossed, cut out and glued in the ripples. Next I stamped the sentiment straight on the tag and used the same white pen for some highlights.
Lastly I inked the edges of the tag with black ink, matted it on black and blue card stock and put the ribbon through.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it....

Postcard

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today is the first of May already ! Doesn't time fly...  I made this postcard as my DT piece for Roc for this month.

I started with a piece of Kraft card stock which I dry brushed with Gesso. I also aged the edges a bit with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I used a page out of a (German) Dictionary as a base. I tore the edges, distressed them with DI (Vintage Photo) and crumpled it up. After uncrumpling I went over it again with the same ink. I then sprayed it with water and made the colour move a little bit. After drying I adhered it to the postcard. I then stamped the following Roc Nicholas Stamps on white card stock:

I then coloured them with Copics, Clear embossed them and cut them out. After that I took a black marker around every image. I glued everything down on my distressed book text. Wasn't easy to fit Dog's ears inside the Bird Princess' arms.
Lastly I adhered some bits of corrugated card and some jewels down.
