This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday !

For today's Vera Lane Studio project I have made an artjournal page in my 8 x 8 Dylusions journal.

I started by painting the pages with acrylic paints in different beiges and creams for the sand and a blue and white for the sky. I then added a stencil print (#77 Sunflower Power by AALL & Create) and some stamping (#338 & #523 both by Janet via AALL & Create). I printed and coloured the images and then cut them out. I glued them onto the page and added some shading underneath the girl and the pyramids. The sentiment from the set and a pencil line along the edges of the page finished it off.

I have used the set "Wanderlust" that came out this week. You will find it HERE

The secret of every day things..

 Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog where I am sharing a 6 x 6 journal page with Bipasha's new wren stamp. Isn't it cute!

First I added Distress Oxide inks to a piece of 6 x 6 paper. I used Faded Jeans and Vintage photo. I then rolled white paint over the top. When everything had dried I stamped the little wren over the top.

I also stamped him on a separate piece of card stock and coloured him. I then cut him out.

I then added some background stamping to my piece of paper.

\

Also, added washi tape. Actually the blue tape by Tracy called Mother Nature inspired the colours on this page.

I added a doodle line along the edges of the page and glued the cut out and coloured wren to the one on the page.

I have used the following AALL & Create materials:
Stencil #145 - Jumbo ABC's by Bipasha Bk
Stamps:
#457 - Background Voices by Bipasha Bk
#470 - Scripted Diamonds by Bipasha Bk
#631 - Little Wren by Bipasha Bk

Washi:
#11 - Mother Nature by Tracy Evans
#24 - Power words by Bipasha Bk

Stand tall

 Hello everyone,

For today's Vera Lane Studio project I have made an ATC with this week's release which is called "Stand tall".

I printed and coloured the bird and his hat. I used Copic Markers. I looked through my ATC backgrounds and found this one and thought it was perfect. I added a few slivers of Janet's washi tape "Vivre" by AALL & Create and placed the bird on top of this. I added the sentiment and some doodles and that was it!

You'll find this fabulous bird and the rest of the set HERE

Exotic

  Hi Everyone,

For today's VivaLasVegaStamps! project I have made a postcard!

And here's how I made it:

First I dunked the card in to Distress Oxide inks that I smooshed on my craft sheet. I did add some water too.

Next I stamped the background and inked the edges of the card.

I then stamped the focal image on the card because the one I stamped to colour, I cannot cut out perfectly so I just glue it over the top of this one. Looks perfect !

Here I have glued the coloured and cut out image over the top of the one on the card.

I have used the following stamps:

I also used:
Distress Oxide Inks
Copic Markers
Clippings sticker
Washi tape

A wonderful creature

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog for this week's AALL & Create DT post. I have made a 6"x 6" journal page this time.

Here's how I made it:

I made the background with Distress Oxide ink Speckled egg and Vintage Photo by dunking and drying. I smooshed the ink onto my craft sheet (One at a time), spritzed with water and dunked and dried, repeated this until I was happy, then did the same with the Vintage Photo.
Next I rubbed the ink pad over the stencil and spritzed that with water too. I then printed it along the edges of my page.

Next I did some stamping on the background. I used the same Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink and a Versafine Clair in Nocturne.

I added a few pieces of washi tape..

I then stamped the Mountain Goat on my page and on a piece of watercolour paper.

I watercolored the goat and cut him out.

Lastly I added him to my page, together with some clippings stickers.

I have used the following AALL & Create products:

Stencil: #45 Digital Bubbles by Autour de Mwa
Stamps:
#619 Mountain Goat by Bipasha Bk
#443 Scripted Circles by Bipasha Bk
#489 Wisecracks by Autour de Mwa

Washi #13 Fasteners by Bipasha Bk

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday ! For today's Vera Lane Studio project, I have made two projects. A tag with the Vera Lane Studio digital pisces and a postcard with the AALL & Create pisces stamp.

I am a pisces you see so she is my favourite of all the starsigns! Haha!

I printed, coloured and cut out the image and added some stencil printing, stamping and washi tape to a mop up page from the gelli plate. I glued the little fishy girl and the sentiment on the tag and that was that!

The background was made with Distress Oxide inks and there is also a stencil in the  background but you can't see it at all anymore. I think I added to many layers of ink over the top. I also added some stamping and I inked the edges of the card.  I printed, coloured and cut out the image and the sentiment and glued it onto the card.

You'll find the digital 'Pisces' HERE.

Travel the universe

  Hello everyone,

For today's VivaLasVegaStamps! project I have made a journal spread. It is still my favourite thing to do!

I think I went for the travel theme as I have not been able to go on vacation in the last 2 1/2 years due to restrictions and I have had enough. So here's to 2022 being the year where we can go back to some sort of normal.

I have used the following stamps:

I also used:
Distress Oxide inks
Embossing powder
Copic Markers
Washi tape
a stencil

Always be on the lookout

 Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create post I have made a card. I went back into the 'archives' to search out some older stamps that I still really like and this is what I came up with.

Here's how:

I used Distress Oxide inks, sprays and some pigment powders to make this background. I just put them all on my craft sheet, spritzed with water and dunked the card in it. I then added a stencil print.

This stamp is one of my favourite ones for backgrounds; there are so many elements to use.. I used a greenish ink that matched some of the background.

A bit more background stamping. This time with black.

Next I stamped the fish on the card and on a piece of watercolour paper.

I then watercolored the fish... and cut it out.

I then glued it onto the one on the card. I also added a sentiment, in this case a small talk sticker by Tim Holtz.

I have used the following AALL & Create materials:

stencil #59 Weathered tiles by Autour de Mwa
Stamps:
#489 Wisecracks by Autour de Mwa
#58 Scribble it by Autour de Mwa
#386 Ocean Wonders by Bipasha Bk
