Live

Hello fellow Crafters,

This is my second post for today, yes I have been busy but I just love playing with paper, ink, stamps and paint.  I decided to make another tag :

I started this #8 tag a few days ago where I was experimenting with model paste. I smeared a layer over this tag and then used an old credit card to get some texture in it. I used the side and pressed it repeatedly into the model paste in two directions so it has a sort of woven effect if that makes any sense.
When this was dry I sprayed the whole thing with Dylusions in yellow, lime, turquoise and blue but I didn't like it so I sprayed it with water and dried it with a rag which removed most of the colour. I then used Distress Inks instead and added a bit of orange in a few places. I then dry brushed it with gesso. That looked better and I used some vintage photo to distress the tag a little. I then splattered black and white ink on it and stamped the circles using white gesso. The image is called Bird Lady and is by Stampotique. I stamped her, coloured her in the usual way and placed her on some dictionary paper with the word 'bird' just visible next to her head. I used some washi tape and lace to ground her. I matted the tag on turquoise card stock and finished it off with another bit of the same lace and the sticker in the left top corner.

Best friends

Hello fellow Crafters,

I love taking part in challenges and because I love making ATC's I decided to make one for the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge blog. The theme this week is friendship and here's what I made :

The ATC card was painted with Gesso and PaperArtsy Fresco Paint in light blue. I stamped the harlequins with white ink and then clear embossed them. This is a homemade stamp by the way, made from some foam that was used a packaging. I did some background stamping with dark blue ink and doodled a bit with white and black gel pens. The image is by Stampotique and is called the Tweedles.
I coloured them with watercolour pencils and a water brush and clear embossed them. I then placed them on double sided tape and cut them out. To make them neater I went around the cutting edge with a black marker. The sentiment is by Tim Holtz from his chit chat stickers. That't it !

Hearts

Hello fellow Crafters,

This week over at the Tag Along Challenge blog the theme is hearts and was set by Deborah.
This is what I made :

This is a #8 tag which I covered in model paste with a painters knife. I left it as I put it on because I liked the texture. With a pencil I scratched the heart in it very roughly. When it was dry I smooshed 3 different colours of Distress Ink pads on it, I used pink, orange and yellow. I rubbed the colours with a rag to soften them a bit and to make them blend. I then dry brushed some gold acrylic paint over it. It is a shame you can't see the true shimmer that put on it. I still thought the texture wasn't obvious enough so I took a brown Archival ink and rubbed it lightly over all that texture to make it stand out a bit more and that worked. I used the same ink pad to age the edges. I traced the heart with a black marker and put some rub ons on. Lastly I stamped the sentiment which is from Stampotique on book text, cut it apart and aged the edges and stuck it on the tag. The tag was matted on dar red card stock and a little bit of raffia in the same colour finished it off.

Cards for mother

Hello fellow Crafters,

This week I have been busy making a few cards for my Mum for her to send to her friends and family. They are quite different from my usual stuff because my Mum is a bit more conservative than me. But I thought I share them with you all the same because I did enjoy making them.
Here they are :

They are all birthday cards and were made with different techniques. I used stamps, paint, patterned paper, washi tape, ribbon, embossing powder and did a bit of sewing on one of them.

Viva Las VegaStamps! DT Tryout

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I am showcasing these three projects because they are part of my application for a position on the VLVS! Design Team. I have only used two VLVStamps in these projects because I haven't got many (yet).
I would love to be part of the DT because I enjoy sharing my knowledge and art with others. I would also love the chance to work with more of those fabulous stamps !

'Tis the season….

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today is Wednesday and you guessed it Stampotique Challenge day! Now, if you have been reading my blogposts, you know I am totally addicted to these quirky stamps ! Anyway today's Challenge is set by Nellie and this is what she said :

"I always intent to start early making my Christmas cards. But real life often gets in the way and before I know it it’s the middle of December and my Christmas cards end up being either very simple and quick or bought in a shop. So I thought why not set a Stampotique challenge to make Christmas cards in November and force myself to really make and early start. So here is what I came up with. And of course I love to see your Christmas cards or other Christmas projects!"

I have made this :

This is a # 10 tag and it was gessoed and then painted with Paperartsy pale blue paint. After this dried I rubbed a white ink pad along the edges and stamped the snowflakes with Versamark and white embossed them. The image is called Are My Pants Too Tight and you can find him HERE. I coloured him with watercolour pencils and clear embossed him. I also stamped a little present, it is Christmas after all, on gessoed book text and coloured the ribbon. The scalloped bit of paper was cut out of the same gessoed book text as was the paper the sentiment is glued on. I did some dash lines with a black marker on both. I made the sentiment with sticky letters. Lastly I made his Christmas hat from the same book paper and a bit of red glitter paper. A bit of red ribbon and a staple finished it off.

You can't be sad...

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I made an art journal. I enjoyed making the pink birthday card last week and decided to do an art journal with the same colours and techniques. This is it :

This is my Moleskine sketch book. I gessoed the page with Liquitex gesso which is a bit gritty and is a good base layer for Pan Pastels I find. I then used 2 shades of pink and then stamped the letters (Dylusions stamp) over the background with white ink. I also stamped a mini from Paperartsy which has numbers.  I then splattered some thinned black paint on the page and used a top from a toothpaste tube to make the circles. I used my Archival black ink pad to go around the edges of the pages. I then dug 'Miguel Has a Gift' by Stampotique out of the drawer an decided to replace his box with a cupcake! He was stamped on white paper and water coloured and clear embossed. I didn't have a cupcake stamp that was the right size so I drew one, coloured it the same way as Miguel and embossed it. I also stamped the middle bit of Miguel again so I could colour just the hands, cut them out and glue them around the cup cake.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment (from the internet) on some gessoed book text and glued it in place. Oh, and of course Miguel was placed on some washitape and I used a bit more of this here and there on the page to balance it.

Hope you like it !

Twinkle, twinkle little star

Hello fellow Crafters,

Over at the Tag Along blog the theme this week is Ring a ding ding… lots of bling! So I sat down this afternoon and made this tag :

I coloured the tag with Pan Pastels and Distress inks after I put Gesso in it. I like the texture Gesso gives. I then stamped the swirls with Versamark and embossed them. I used silver holographic embossing powder which I mixed with blue glitter. Wasn't sure it would work but it did ! Yay…
I then randomly stamped some text on with blue Archival ink and glued the little blue jewels on. The white dots were made with a eraser on the end of a pencil and white ink.  I stamped the stars with Versamark on white cardstock and again embossed them, this time with just the silver holographic powder, cut them out and glued them on. I thought of the sentiment first and then my thoughts immediately went to Marci. As usual she was stamped on white paper, coloured with pencils and a water brush and clear embossed. Lastly I made the sentiment with Tim Holtz sticky letters and put the ribbon through.
Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it….

Happy birthday 2

Hello fellow Crafters,

This my second posting for today and the second card I made. I couldn't believe it took me most of the day to make these two cards. I am pleased I had a day to craft today though as I have had very little time lately because I was busy with all sorts of other things. My laptop packed up so I had to buy a new one and (with help of hubbie) had to get all my stuff from the old to the new one. All done now though.

Of course there was the new Stampotique Challenge yesterday. And this was it :

Today we are challenging you to use a SPLAT! of paint somewhere on your design. We all love to get messy once in awhile and this week is your perfect opportunity to throw on some grubby clothes and splatter that paint all over your creation.

Can't wait to see the splotches!

So I decided to make a birthday card and this is it :

This is also a 13 x 13 cm card as was the previous one. I put on gesso first and then Pan Pastels in 2 shades of pink. I did some background stamping and decided to use numbers today. Dylusions numberstamp with white ink and a Paperartsy mini in Stazon grey ink. I then thinned some black acrylic paint with water and splattered all over my card front. I also used a top from a tube and the same paint to stamp the circles. The little Sheep Monster was stamped on white card and as usual painted with watercolour pencils and clear embossed. I placed him on some washitape and decided to use a little more around the card to balance it a bit better. Lastly I stamped the sentiment on book text and glued it on.

Happy birthday 1

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I made two birthday cards for two different challenges.
The first one is for Coby's Challenge over at the Craftorij FB page.

She wanted us to make something that was 'framed'. So I decided to do some doodling :

This is a square 13 x 13 cm card. I cut a bit of white card stock in this size and painted it with gesso and after it dried I coloured it with Pan Pastels in yellow and orange. I used a Paperartsy stamp to bring some interest to the background. I decided to use Stampotique's 'Miguel has a gift' as I thought this was quite appropriate for a birthday card. I stamped him on white paper and did my usual water colouring and clear embossing. I doodled the border with black and white pens. I then put on the sentiment which says "It's your birthday" and made the one for the inside (Congratulations)  the same way.

Sending buckets of love...

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I made this little ATC for France Papillon, after reading her blogpost about the accident that happened to her 4 years ago. I was amazed at how she lives her life so positively after such a devastating accident.

The ATC was coloured with distress ink in Chipped Sapphire after stamping it with the dotted circles in Versamark ink and heat embossing it. I dripped some water on it to create little water stains. Shoogy Dog was stamped on white paper, lightly coloured and clear embossed. The sentiment came from a Simon Says Stamp Stamp set which came in their November Card kit which I won  !!!
Shoogy was put on some washi tape.

Abracadabra

Hello fellow Crafters,

This is my second posting and again it is an ATC :

I painted this ATC with pink Distress Paint and while it was still wet sprayed Dylusions in pink and orange on it. I sprayed some water on top of that while it was still wet and then dried it. I did a bit of background stamping and used an old top from a tube to stamp the white and black circles. The black dots are actually dots from a sticky glittery letter set. I also used a few bits of rub on. I usually just use little bits of rub on to give the project a bit more interest. I found quite a few top hats on the internet and used those as an example to draw my own. I coloured it with markers, clear embossed it and cut a slit where Rabbit was going to slide in.  Rabbit was stamped on white cardstock, coloured with watercolour pencils and clear embossed. I put hat and rabbit together and glued the whole thing on some washi tape. Lastly I made the sentiment with sticky letters.
Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it......

Live like.....

Hello fellow Crafters,

This is the first of two postings for today. I made two ATC's and this is the first one:

This is an ATC which started off with mopped up Dylusions left over from another project. I painted Gesso over it to dull it down a bit. I used the Chickenwire stencil from TCW and did some background stamping, not much because it looked great as it was I thought. I ordered Toto and Dorothy together but sadly only Toto arrived. Toto was stamped on white cardstock, coloured with watercolour pencils and clear embossed. I placed him on a bit of washi tape. The quote came from the internet and I made it using rub on letters. After a bit of doodling with a white pen and a blue pencil around the quote it was done.

Pretty awesome..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I have an art journal page to share. I used another one of my new Stampotique stamps and really enjoyed making this page. So here goes :

I scraped gesso on this page with a painter's knife and made sure is was rough and irregular. I then sprayed Dylusions on in orange, yellow, lime and a tiny bit of blue. I had to do this a few times and spray it with water to get some colour because the gesso just soaks it all up. When that all dried I made the colours a little brighter with Distress Inks in the same colours. Next I stamped the border, this is a Dylusions 'Inbetweenie' or better said half a one as I only inked half of it up. I then doodled around it with a white gel pen. I also used a Dylusions Number stencil with white ink and did a little bit of background stamping with orange, grey and black Archival inks. Then I choose this lovely chappie to feature, his name is 'Are my pants too tight'. Because I didn't want him to feel lonely I thought Kitty could keep him company. The sentiment came from the internet and is by no means perfectly placed but hey, I may not be perfect.....
I used washi tape to place the images and the sentiment on and again did some doodling around the sentiment.

Meow

Hello fellow Crafters,

It's wednesday again. So another Stampotique Challenge. It is number 125 and it is 'One Layer'.
Samantha is hosting and this is what she said :

"Hi Stampotiquers! I'm so excited to be your host this week and I'm inviting you to make a creation using just one layer. It doesn't necessarily have to be clean and simple, that's the challenge! I love lots and lots of layers but to achieve a sense of depth to a creation using no embellishments etc can really get you scratching your head and rubbing your chin!

Most importantly have fun ;)"

And rubbing my chin and scratching my head I was. I seem to have made is clean and simple as well, so here goes:

There is really not much to say about it. I printed the letters on the computer, cut them out and then drew around them straight on the card and coloured them in with a black marker. I stamped Kitty on top of the E and coloured her with watercolour pencils and that was it.

Thanks for stopping by !

Barking.....

Hello fellow Crafters,

This is my second post for today and it is another tag. I used another on of my new Stampotique stamps for this and I had a lot of fun making this:

I started this tag with yellow and orange Pan Pastels. There is also a tiny little bit of pink around the edges but you can't really see that on this picture. I stamped a Tim Holtz background stamp over the whole background with orange Archival ink and then used a Dylusions number stencil and a white inkpad to make the numbers. I then splattered some black India Ink on it and went around the edges with Archival Black ink. The little dog is called Shoogy Dog and is a Stampotique Original. He was stamped on the tag and on white paper and coloured with watercolour pencils and clear embossed. I then placed him on double sided tape, fussy cut him out and placed him on the stamp on the tag. This way you get all the little details even if you didn't cut everything out really precise. He is sitting on some washi tape, the same washitape as on the top right of the tag. The little heart is from another Stampotique stamp called Daniels Hearts. I gave this the same treatment as the dog and drew the string and bow above it. I found the sentiment on the internet and apparently Snoopy said this.
A bit of red ribbon finished it off.
I am going to enter this tag into the Craft Stamper Challenge which is all about splatter !

Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it....

Treasure life

Hello fellow Crafters,

I made a couple of tags today. This is the first one :

I made this tag from white cardstock and coloured it with Distress Inks, first the smooshing methode; smoosh inkpads on your craftsheet, spray with water and put your tag in it. After that I used the same inks and a distress tool to make the colours more intense. I then dripped some water on it and after that dried I splattered some black India Ink on it and randomly stamped it with a postmark stamp and Vintage Photo distress ink which I also used to go around the edges. The dragonfly stamp is from Tim Holtz and I stamped it on the tag. I stamped the body and wing part again on some acetate, cut it out and glued it on the stamp on the tag. The sentiment was made with Tim Holtz Chit Chat stickers. A bit of black cardstock as a mat and some orange ribbon finished it off.

The trouble with trouble...

Hello fellow Crafters,

Another day, another mini art journal page with a new stamp. I love them. This is what I made:

I started out putting loads of gesso on the page. I used a brush but you can probably see that by the brush strokes. I love all that texture.  I then used some Pan Pastels in violet and purple and after putting the fixative on, I used a background stamp with numbers but you can hardly see it. The polkadots were made with Punchinella and a white ink. I used a cap for the circles with black Archival and also used this ink to go around the edges of the page. The little stars are rub ons. I fancied using this little sheep today because he is my favourite of my new stamps. He is called Sheep Monster and he is, of course, Stampotique. As usual I stamped him on white paper, coloured him with watercolour pencils en clear embossed him. He is standing on a another stamp which is Paperartsy and got the same treatment. The sentiment is made with TH sticker letters and I found it on the internet, where else !!!

Life is sweet

Hello fellow Crafters,

This is my second post for today and after I finished the art journal in the post before this one, I allowed myself to play with my new stamps. ;o) This is my first project with Lollipop. Is it a girl or a boy ?? Well, she is wearing a mini skirt so I will assume it is a girl.

This is a page in my mini Moleskine journal.
The background is one of my experiments from last week with gesso. I painted it lightly with Distress paint.  I did do a little bit of background stamping with blue ink but you can't really see it. You can see the black dotted circles though, I stamped those with Archival ink which I also used to go around the edges of the page. I stamped Lollypop on white paper, coloured her with watercolour pencils and clear embossed her and Bushes on booktext which I coloured also with watercolour pencils but didn't emboss them. The sun came from a free stampset, which I got with a magazine and was also stamped on booktext and coloured with watercolour pencils. I cut everything out and glued it on the page. I thought about this sentiment because of the lollypop and made it with a Dymo labelmaker.

Every day is an adventure

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I have two projects to share with you. The first on is an Art journal page I started last week but only today had I time to finish it off.

The background was done with Pan Pastels in yellow, orange and pink. Did some background stamping and stencilling. The ornament in the corners is a stencil also. I doodled around it  with a white gel pen and connected them with dots, so it is a border around the page. Mela was stamped on white paper and coloured and clear embossed. I cut her out and placed her on a bit of washit tape. The sentiment is made with sticky back letters which I doodled around with a white gel pen as well. When I had stuck them on I thought the right side was a bit empty, so I put a black rub on there which balanced it a bit I thought.

Hello

Hello fello Crafters,

After I made the tag (see underneath) for the Tag Along Blog I made another ATC. The card was on my desk from yesterday when I did a few more than I needed for the Stampotique Challenge 'use gesso'.

This time I put the gesso on through a stencil and after drying I sprayed it with yellow and orange Dylusions Ink sprays. I distressed the edges with Ripe Persimmon ink.  I stamped Carol's flower and Waving Spotted Monster, from Stampotique of course, on white card, coloured them with watercolour pencils and clear embossed them. I have to say that the photo doesn't do the colours justice. It looks a bit brighter in real life. I suppose it is the weather which is grey and wet and my camera doesn't seen to want to photograph green I glued the monster on top of a bit of washi tape and drew a stem for the flower. Lastly I put the Hello on. '
Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you like it.

Memory is a diary....

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I made a tag for the Tag Along Challenge blog. It is number 11 already and the theme is 'time to remember'. For a lot of people in the UK and the US it obviously relates to Remembrance Sunday. Not in Holland though, we remember on the 4th of May. So I came up with something different:

I made first layer of this tag yesterday when I was doing the Stampotique Challenge this week which was 'use gesso'. So the ridges you see are actually gesso. I saw this in a tutorial from Stampotique DT member Sarinda Jones. You will find it here. I put lots of gesso on the tag, then placed another tag on top, pressed it down and took it off. Result: Two tags with gesso ridges. Great fun. Anyway I sprayed is with yellow ink and after drying distressed it a bit. I found this image in  my stash and looked on the internet for a suitable sentiment and found this one by Oscar Wilde. Some paper flowers, a bit of ribbon and a dark red mat finished it off.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it ....

Today I will be the best version of me

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I practised using Gesso a bit before I made the tag I entered into the Stampotique Challenge.
I made this ATC:

I started with teal Dylusions on the card. I then put the Gesso over the top with a bit of Punchinella. After drying I did a little bit of doodling. The stamp is called Framed and is from Stampotique Originals. He was stamped on white paper and coloured with watercolour pencils and clear embossed as usual. These days I stick the images on wide double sided tape after embossing but before cutting out so I can just stick them on my project. (I stamp the same image on the project as well so that I don't have to cut out all the tiny little details). I distressed the edges of the ATC with black ink. The sentiment is made with Tim Holtz letter stickers and I doodles around them with a white gel pen.
And that was it.
Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it.....

Together again

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today is Wednesday and that means Stampotique Challenge day. Today's Challenge is "Using Gesso" and was set by Sarinda. This is what she wrote :

"Hello Creatives. Sarinda here and I am asking you to rethink Gesso in this challenge. I find that I use Gesso a lot in my work and feel is an amazing tool to utilize. Yes, tool. Not only does is serve as a basic prep to your sub-straight, It picks up texture of a stencil, use it with a pallet knife, layer it. And if you are using it with inks, sprays, stains it will create unique depth to your backgrounds. Even try it on top of lace, fabric, tulle. Play and be free."

I used to use a lot of Gesso when I used to paint but obviously only to prep my canvasses. It was only when I started doing papercraft that I started using gesso differently.
Anyway this is what I made for this week's Challenge :

This is a Manilla tag #8. First I put gesso on through a honey comb stencil from Tim Holtz. After it dried I rubbed it with Distress Inks in yellow, orange and pink; my favourite colour combination. That didn't quite give the effect I wanted so I used my reinkers in the same colours with water. After this had dried I stamped some script on the background with grey StaZon. I didn't want too much because I thought it was nice as it was and didn't need much more. I stamped Twinkie and one of the birds of Birdy Up on white paper and coloured them, as usual, with watercolour pencils and clear embossed them. I also stamped one heart of Hanging Hearts and glued it on Twinkie's shirt. The rings are made with more gesso and a lid from a tube. I put Twinkie on a bit of booktext which I cut into scallops. (Been trying to find a punch that does this for me but I can't find one that simple anywhere).
I stuck a bit of ribbon on top of this for a bit more interest. The text is from Tim Holtz's Chit Chat stickers. I mounted the tag on white cardstock and put some pink and white ribbon through which I secured with two staples.

Jingle your own damn bells .....

Hello fellow Crafters,

From today there will be a Stampotique Challenge every two weeks over on the Craftorij FaceBook page. That is good news as I don't tire of playing with my Stampotique stamps. The Challenge today was to make a tag. Here's mine :

I started with a #8 Manilla tag. I stamped the snowflakes with Versamark and white embossed them. After that I used a blending tool and Chipped Saphire Distress Ink to colour the tag. I splashed some water on it to get the lighter spots. The edges were distressed by dragging the inkpad along it. I stamped Stampotique's ' Snowy Fran' on white cardstock and coloured her with watercolour pencils. The little bird is from a Crafty Individuals stampset. He was also stamped on white card and coloured with watercolour pencils. Both images were clear embossed and then glued on the tag. The sentiment is also Stampotique and is one phrase. You'll find it here. I stamped it on white cardstock and cut out the words before glueing them on the tag. A bit of ribbon and a white mat finished it off.

Oh happy day

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I have an ATC to share with you.

I coloured the ATC with Dylusions in Fresh Lime and Lemon Zest. I bought these recently at a craftfair and wanted to use them again. I used a stencil from TCW called Grandma's Doily on the background. I only used one background stamp (ledger by Paperartsy) in grey ink. The black wiggly circles are made with a cookie cutter and the little tiny black circles with a ball point with the point retracted; I just filled them in with a white gel pen. The white circles are stamped with white ink and a top of something. Can't remember where it came from. I tend to keep old tops and lids to stamp with.
As a main image I used Stampotique's Chessy designed by Janet Klein. He is part of an Alice in Wonderland series and I think he is wonderful. I decided to give him a fish (TH Tiny Things) to carry. The sentiment is a song title but of course for Chessy it is a really happy day having caught or stolen a fish for his dinner !!

Pokerface

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I made another tag, well I made a few, but can only show you one because the others are for a swap and a Challenge I will be hosting in February.
So this one I can show you:

I used a Manilla tag #8 and sprayed it with Dylusions in Lemon Zest, Dirty Martini and Fresh Lime. I used a stencil and the ghosting technique where you spay water through a stencil and mop up the water to leave a image of your stencil. It's very faint but it is the circle design on the right hand side of the tag. After a bit of background stamping I decided to use Stampotique's Goat Monster. I put him on another Stampotique stamp called Tenticurl. I also used a few rub ons and choose Poker Face which I think he has. Lastly I mounted the tag on black cardstock and put the ribbon through.
Thanks for stopping by!

Just jammin'

Hello fellow Crafters,

This is my second post for today and this is more me. I must say I think I've had enough of scary, creepy, halloweeny stuff. So back to what I like doing which is playing with my stamps.

This is a size 8 Manilla tag on which I glued some tissuepaper and then coloured it with Pan Pastels in yellow and orange. I did my usual background stamping and was so pleased to use my brandnew Stampotique stamp Jammin'. Isn't he cute? He was stamped on white paper and coloured with water colour pencils. I used a waterbrush for the first time today and I thought this worked very well. After colouring I clear embossed him, so the colours are nice and bright. He was placed on some chevron black and white washi tape of which I also used a bit at the top of the tag. I chose the sentiment
'just jammin'' because in Jamaincan Patois it means a getting together or celebration and of course it is also his name. Lastly I put some ribbon through the hole and mounted the tag on blue shimmery cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by !

The 10th Tag Along Challenge

Hello fellow crafters,

I've been very busy this week with all sorts of non-crafting things but today I had a bit of time and I made two tags. The first on is for the 10th challenge over on the Tag Along Challenge blog. This weeks theme is "Day of the dead". It is a festival that is celebrated mainly in Mexico and this is what I made:

I started with a # 8 Manilla tag on which I glued some tissue paper. Then I painted it with Broken China Distress Paint and did some background stamping. I aged the edges with dark blue Archival ink. I then stamped on the flourishes. The one next to the head is actually a rub on. I doodled around them a bit with a white gel pen. I then drew a skull (from an example) on some white paper and  decorated it with a few punched out flowers and gem stones and used permanent markers for the rest of the decoration. I found the sentiment on the internet and it means : 'The ones alive need everything, the dead need nothing'. It was glued on pink ribbon on which I doodled some white dots.   I mounted the tag on yellow cardstock and put some ribbon through the hole securing it with a staple.
Thanks for stopping by !
