Hello fellow Crafters,
Today I made a tag for the Tag Along Challenge blog. It is number 11 already and the theme is 'time to remember'. For a lot of people in the UK and the US it obviously relates to Remembrance Sunday. Not in Holland though, we remember on the 4th of May. So I came up with something different:
I made first layer of this tag yesterday when I was doing the Stampotique Challenge this week which was 'use gesso'. So the ridges you see are actually gesso. I saw this in a tutorial from Stampotique DT member Sarinda Jones. You will find it here. I put lots of gesso on the tag, then placed another tag on top, pressed it down and took it off. Result: Two tags with gesso ridges. Great fun. Anyway I sprayed is with yellow ink and after drying distressed it a bit. I found this image in my stash and looked on the internet for a suitable sentiment and found this one by Oscar Wilde. Some paper flowers, a bit of ribbon and a dark red mat finished it off.
Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it ....
