Coffee Junkie..

Hello fellow Crafters,

I just made this ATC and wanted to share...

Unfortunately I couldn't capture the colours very well today. Maybe it is the dark and cloudy skies?

I started this ATC with watersoluble crayons in yellow, orange and red. I blended them together with my fingers. I then stamped the 'Art Junkie' stamp partly at the bottom and coloured in the letters with Big Brush Markers.  Next I stamped the background with 'Fax to Wolfgang' with white ink and one of the 'circles cube' with black Archival ink. The word coffee was formed with individual letters from  'Barcode text 1' and 'Barcode text 2', lastly the main image is 'Cocoa Bird'; he was stamped on white card stock, coloured and cut out. All stamps from Stampotique.com.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it..

My adventure...

Hello fellow Crafters,

I have an art journal to share today. I made this with Lost Coast Design Stamps.. If you would like some you can find them HERE or HERE.

Detail of the glitter :

Detail of the girl...

I put distress ink on the pages with a brayer. I used Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers. I didn't like it so I brayered some white gesso over the top. It blended it out somewhat  and I liked it better. I stamped (part of)  the text of "Frida 3" on the background with grey ink and then used the round shape of the "Shadow Frames set" to create the circles. I used white pigment ink and sprinkled sparkly embossing powder over the top and heat embossed it. I then used a white paint marker to doodle the circles around them. Next I doodled the lines around the page and used a punchinella  stencil and grey Archival ink to create the grey dots. The little girl was stamped on white paper, clear embossed and I also coloured in her wings with Copics. She was adhered to the page. Lastly I created some shadow around her with Big Brush Pitt pens and adhered the sentiment which is made out of Chit Chat stickers from Tim Holtz.

That was it !

Hope you like it...

I became insane

Hello fellow Crafters,

It is Wednesday, yay ! Time for another Challenge at the Stampotique Designers' Challenge blog. This week my talented teammate and dear friend Kay set the theme : "In the words of Edgar Allan Poe". This is what she said:

"My challenge this week is a simple one, but requires a bit of research on your part.  Just as many of the Stampotique Originals' artists design stamps that might be described as a bit "quirky," so, too, was Edgar Allan Poe a bit quirky.  He is a well known author and poet, living from 1809-1849.  His quotes range from the romantic to the melancholy, and from the thoughtful to the murderous!  The choice is yours.  Allow yourself some time this week to combine a quote from Edgar Allen Poe with one or more stamped images to create something unique!"
I have to confess I have never read anything by EAP; shame on me ! But, I did have a look on the internet and found this quote which I though went really well with poor "Checkers".

I started this tag by colouring it with Distress Inks in the colours: Spiced Marmelade, Rusty Hinge and Gathered Twigs. I used a blending tool. I then splattered some water on it and used Tim Holtz's clock stencil with Rusty Hinge ink. Next I stamped the "Web" with Versamark and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. The "Crow Line" was next; I used Versafine for this. I didn't think is was black enough so I coloured them in with a Copic Marker after the ink dried. I also stamped a few extra crows. In the end I covered them with glossy accents too !
"Checkers" was stamped on white card stock and coloured with Copics, clear embossed and cut out. I then adhered him to the tag. I made the sentiment with my old typewriter, cut the words out and inked the edges with Rusty Hinge. After glueing the wording to the tag I added two more crows. The last thing I did was put a ribbon through the hole.

I used the following stamps :

Even though you might not know anything about Edgar Allan Poe or never read anything  by him, why not play along. The internet is full of EAP words and quotes... You never know, you might just win one of two $30 vouchers to spend in the online Stampotique store. Just remember, no digi's and only one entry per person per challenge.
Good luck !

Self portrait..

Hello fellow Crafters,

I have a tag to share today:

I made this for Lost Coast Designs.. I started with a gelli print en added some stamping. You can hardly see it but there are butterflies at the right side of the tag. I then doodled around the tag with a fine tipped pen and went on to stamp "Frida 3" and the butterfly from the "Butterflies set".
Frida was stamped on tissue paper, cut out and adhered to the tag. The sentiment is around her head on the stamped image, but I chose to cut it off and separate the words. The butterfly was stamped on a scrap of paper with similar colours of paint on it and embossed and cut out. I also punched some circles out of the same scrap. Everything was adhered to the tag with gel medium.
The last thing I did was put a ribbon through the hole..

VLVS! a tale of two projects....

Hello fellow Crafters !

This is my second project as Guest Designer for VLVS! I have really enjoyed doing the projects. For this last one I actually did two little projects and couldn't decide which one to use so I'll show them both. Here goes. The first one is a series of three ATC's with the lovely Banksy stamps in the spotlight :

They were all made in the same way. The background is a gelli print. I have lots of them because they are so handy to use in your projects. Of course you can just paint your background, I do that too sometimes. I used two VLVS! stamps for the background : 19415 – Butterfly Specimens and 5210 – Collage writing. I used some black and white ink to make some splatters. Next I stamped the main images :19488 – Banksy Diving Helmets / 19434 – Banksy Gas Mask Flower girl / 19421 – Banksy girl floating with balloons.
Any spots that were not stamped right, I just filled in with a black marker. I then looked for suitable sentiments and decided on : 18408 – I'm not weird / 19423 – BANKSY / 18409 – Share your Sparkle.
I also used a black ink pad to ink the edges.

Here's some close ups :

Banksy Diving Helmets

 Banksy Gas Mask Flower Girl

Banksy girl floating with balloons

I also used the following supplies : Pieces of gelli printed paper. Grey StaZon ink, Black Archival ink and white and black India Ink.

The second project was a postcard. I really liked how this came out :

I made the background by dragging a piece of cardstock through some Dylusions spray inks that I sprayed on my craftsheet with some water. I dried it and repeated the first step until I liked the result. I then stamped the flourish with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. When it was cool I rubbed it lightly with black Archival Ink. Next I stamped the background and the sentiment. I used the following VLVS! Stamps : 19417 – Victorian Flourish / 19416 – Waybill/Invoice Background and 8225 – Attention le ballet...
For the main image I used 9883 – Striped dancer jumping which I stamped on white card, coloured, cut him out and adhered him on the postcard. Some doodles with a black fine tipped pen and a white paint pen finished it off. Some close-ups:

I also used the following supplies : Cardstock, black and white markers, Ranger Silver embossing powder, Versamark Ink, Archival ink, Memento ink, Dylusions spray inks in pink and orange. StaZon Dove grey ink.

I hope you like it !

Thanks for stopping by !

People person..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today is my turn to set the challenge at the Stampotique Designers' Challenge Blog and I'd like everyone to make something with a stripy background. You can use ink, paint or pens whatever you like, just no ready made stripes with pattern paper !! I want you to do it yourself ! I am excited to see what you come up with but most of all I want you to have fun !!
Here is mine :

I decided to go with rainbow colours. I used two pieces of paper to mask off the stripes and used Distress Ink and a blending tool to colour each stripe. I used : Mustard Seed - Spiced Marmelade - Barndoor - Seedless Preserves - Dusty Concorde and Faded Jeans. Next I splattered some water over the top to create some interest and I also used a stencil with water to create some more stripes but you can hardly see those.. Next I randomly stamped the background and glued some inked book text circles inside the circle stamp. Bowtie was stamped on white paper and embossed. I only coloured his bow tie and his party hat. The sentiment was stamped on the edges of some book text that I also coloured with the same Distress Inks. I cut the sentiment apart and glued it to the card and doodled around it  and around the edge of the card also. I used the following stamps :

I hope you find the time this week to play along with us and maybe you will win one of two $30 vouchers to spend in the online shop HERE. Just make sure that you play by the rules which are NO digi's and only one entry per person per challenge. Good luck.

Thanks for stopping by !

Stampotique Month - week 3

Hello fellow Crafters,

For the 3rd challenge of the Stampotique Month over at the Craftorij, Coby wants us to make an ATC.
Here's mine :

This was a real quick one.. I had the card lying around, already coloured with Distress Inks. I used a background stamp and a polkadot stencil and rubbed a black ink pad around the edge. The girl called 'I'm cold' was also already stamped so I coloured her with Copics and cut her out. I was planning on using Roc's Scalloped lace border with another scrap of paper I had but ended up using the off cut.. The sentiment is from "Tall word collage". That was it !!

Don't fence me in

Hello fellow Crafters,

I made a little tag today. This came to be because when I was lying in bed last night I was thinking of the Stampotique stamps I hadn't used yet. And Daniel Torrente's picket fence was one of them. The first thing that sprang to mind was the song 'Don't fence me in'. So I made this tag in my head whilst trying to sleep and wanted to use the song title as the sentiment. In the end I just made the tag and here it is:

I used acrylic paint to colour the tag. I used blue and white and a palet knife to scrape it on. Next I tore a bit of patterned paper to use as the ground and as you can see it has music notes because I was still planning on using the song title... Anyway, next I stamped the tree, the picket fence and the horse, coloured everything with Copic Markers. I arranged everything on the tag and adhered it with liquid glue. I liked it as it is, so decided not to use the sentiment. I used the following stamps:

Lovely Mela..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Yesterday I was playing with yellow, green and blue Dylusions and didn't like the result. So I scraped a layer of Gesso over the top, left it to dry over night and hoped for the best. Today I still didn't think much of it but decided to use it anyway as I don't like throwing stuff away. I made an art journal page with it :

I started stamping the background with several Stampotique stamps and black and blue Archival ink and some white pigment ink. (There's a list of all the stamps I used at the bottom of this post). Next I used a dark blue Archival ink to ink the edges of the paper.
I then stamped the flowers on some yellow patterned paper and cut them out. I used a yellow and orange Big Brush Pitt pen to colour parts of the flowers. I also used a blue Big Brush Pitt pen (and my fingers to blend it) to darken the areas where the flowers were going to be. Once that had all dried I adhered the flowers to the page. Next I though it would be nice to use Mela again as she had been in the drawer for a long time... I coloured her with Copic Markers and cut her out. I glued her onto the page. As she was floating I put some washi tape under her feet to ground her and then stuck some more pieces randomly on the page. That was it I think !

I used the following Stampotique stamps:
Journey Collage (background with light blue Archival ink)
Fax to Wolfgang (background with black Archival ink)
Ticket for Paris (background with white pigment ink)
Circles Cube (background with dark blue Archival ink)

Mode de Paris..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Over at the Tag Along blog, Carol is hosting and she chose the theme 'use text'. So here's my tag:

The background was made by painting a tag with black gesso and then covering it with Crackle paint. It didn't crackle very much but that was probably my fault for using a heat tool (impatient) when the label said 'air dry', lol.... I still liked it and continued by rubbing antiquing wax (raw umber followed by turquoise) over the top. (I bought this stuff while I was at the Craftorij retreat where I did an Andy Skinner workshop... great fun ! I also rubbed the edges with gold interference paint. This is really weird stuff, you can't really see it here unfortunately but when you put it on black it goes gold in one application. The stamps I used were all from an Oxford Impressions Stampset that I bought second hand and I love it... Even the girl in the photo is a stamp ! The text Carol wanted is on the tag directly and I also stamped it on the fabric that forms the ribbon. Last thing : I matted the sentiment and the girl on some grey paper that is actually a sample card from a DIY store for laminate flooring !

You talking' to me ?

Hello fellow Crafters,

I have a postcard with Lost Coast Design Stamps to share to day. It is also on the Lost Coast Design Blog HERE.

I started with dark brown paint (PaperArtsy Fresco - Mud Splat) and when that hat dried I put down a layer of crackle medium. After that had dried I painted a layer of grey paint (PaperArtsy Fresco - Concrete) over the top. You see the crackles appearing almost instantly.
Next I used one of the Three Birds as a background stamp; I used Archival Ink - Potting soil. I also used this ink to age the edge of the card. Next I used a bottle top to stamp the circles. I then decided to add a bit of colour so I punched some blue circles out of a gelli print and adhered them in the centre of some of the circles. The Boxer was stamped on white card stock, coloured and cut out. I adhered him to the card on top of a piece of paper meassuring tape. I also used a smaller bit in the top left corner. Lastly I made the sentiment with a label machine.

Something completely different !

Hello fellow Crafters,

I fancied doing something completely different ....again !

So I bought a small cardboard frame and made it into a wallhanging.

I started off by painting this frame black and rubbing it with Inka Gold in light green. I then used a square of gelli print in the colours orange, green and a bit of gold and stamped one of the Circles from the Circles Cube by Daniel, repeatedly and randomly. I glued this square on the 'back wall' of the frame. The next thing I did was stamp Arwen's 'Vine Scroll' I coloured it, cut it out,  put gel medium on the leaves and sprinkled some glitter on. I then used UTEE to emboss the whole thing to make it a bit more sturdy. It was then glued to the frame with gel medium. 'Unicorn's cousin', designed by Kira, was next. He was stamped, coloured, cut out and clear embossed too. I adhered him just inside the frame, also with gel medium. I think he looks really at home in there ! For the sentiment I used one of the words from the 'Barcode text #2" by France. This also was glued to the frame with gel medium. The last things I added to it were 5 brads of which I cut the prongs. There are two on either side of the sentiment and three on the right side of the frame.

Hope you like it....

Extra !

Hello fellow Crafters,

I made a birthday card for a dear friend today, who is not into blogging and stuff so I can show it here. I am also entering it in the November Challenge of Artistic Outpost where the theme is "Anything goes".

The background was made by spraying in with a teal Flat Fabio by Lindy's Stamp gang. I used a Tim Holtz stencil and some white pigment ink for the numbers. I used a piece of paper measuring tape which I inked with DI as a base to stand the boy on. I also used this DI for the edges of the card. Next I stamped the background with a (part of) a stamp of the "Think and wonder" set from Artistic Outpost. The flags were cut with a TH die and stamped with a background stamp from the AO 'Paperboy' set. I adhered them on the card and they glued and stapled some bakers twine over the top. The boy and the word EXTRA! came from the 'Paperboy" set. The little boy was stamped on white card stock, coloured, cut out and adhered to the card with Dimensional adhesive. That was it. I hope my friend likes his card.

A blingy vintage box

Hello fellow Crafters,

Over at the Stampotique Designers' Challenge blog, it is the oh so talented and lovely France's turn to set the theme. She wants us to get our bling on. This is what she said :

"For the longest time, bling in arting was something I stayed as far away from as I could. I don't know how it happened or when, but I suddenly started to add touches of bling on almost every project. And guess what? I love it!
Now you might still be in that first place I was in, or you might be an avid bling user, but for this week's challenge I would like to see you use some bling! Be it a shiny ink spray, glitters you add or an iridescent paint effect, add some bling to your project!
It will for sure lighten up those days that are getting shorter and darker for us who are getting closer to winter!"

So, bling she shall get ! I altered a little wooden box.

Detail of the bling !

A few days before I started this project I made the bling hearts. I followed a recipe that France used on one of her Journals on Monday - HERE
I used 3D Matte gel and Glass Glitter from Prima with a heart stencil. (Art Ingredients) I let them dry overnight and found that they were not blingy enough for me so I added some more Matte gel on top and sprinkled some more of the glass glitter over the top. I liked them more then. Now they were ready to use.

I started with 2 layers of gesso and then a light blue acrylic paint. When that was all dry I inked the edges of the box with Archival black ink. I used some background stamps and black and brown Archival ink to make the whole thing more interesting. The 4 'beauties' were stamped on tissue paper as well as the 'lift this' sentiment on the front of the box. I adhered these images onto the box with gel medium. Next I made a flower with Tim Holtz' Tattered Floral die and a scrap of Tim Holtz fabric.
The cut out flowers were brushed with gel medium and dried in the shape you see. I adhered the different flowers together and put some more bling in the centre. I also used a few bits of coloured book text.  Before gluing all the embellishments on, I brushed the box with a layer of gel medium. Now it was time to put the whole thing together. I had a look where to put what and when I was happy I glued everything down with Gel medium. I tore another strip of fabric, cut it in half and used it a means of closing the box. I used the following Stampotique stamps for the project:

Why not have a go too. Make something with a bit of bling and maybe you will win one of the $30 vouchers to spend in the Stampotique Online Shop HERE.

Fantasy

Hello fellow Crafters,

The November Challenge over at Art Journey is titled 'fantasy'. I made an art journal :

I don't own many Art Journey stamps, but thought I could play along with what I had. The background was made with blue and green Brusho's. (Jury's still out as to whether I like them or not). and Glass Bead Gel and a stencil.  I die cut some flowers with the Tim Holtz tattered floral die. I doodled around the green flowers and around the edge of the paper. The man's head was stamped and cut out and adhered in the heart of the flowers.

I used the following Art Journey stamps :
- Ripple
- Steampunk 3
- the number which I got as a present

Circus dog

Hello fellow Crafters,

For my weekly Lost Coast Design post I made a card with a circus doggie :

The front of the card was a bit of paper I used to deposit left over model paste. When it was dry it looked quite nice so I decided to put some colour on it. I used Gelatos. Next I used the ball from the Circus Dogs Stampset for the background and one of the dogs with the little podium as the main image. I stamped the dog on white card stock, clear embossed him and cut him out. The flags were cut from a piece of leftover testpaper with Twinkling H2O's (I never throw anything away as one day it will come in handy) and the podium was stamped on the same testpaper and cut out. After adhering all the bits to the card I added some Washi tape, aged the edges of the tape and the card and mounted the whole think on black card stock. Lastly this panel was glued on a white card base.

November Challenge VLVS!

Hello fellow Crafters,

The November Challenge is up over at VivaLasVegaStamps! and this is the inspiration board

I decided to make a postcard and this is it:

The background is made with glossy card stock and Dylusions. I must admit it was an experiment as I didn't know if it was going to work but it did.  I used Fresh Lime, Dirty Martini and Squeezed Orange. I used white and black ink to stamp and stencil the background. The arrows and the sentiment are TH rub ons. Next I stamped the girl and coloured her and cut her out. I adhered her to the card on top of a die cut circle.  Lastly I drew a line around the card with a fineliner. That was it.
I used the following elements of the inspiration board: Lime, orange, black and white, circles, grunge numbers, arrows and splatters.
VLVS! stamps I used :

19454 - Grungy 3
19416 - Waybill
19536 - Girl in princess costume

If I had a world of my own ..

Hello fellow Crafters,

I love Janet Klein's Alice-series stamps and my favourite must be 'The Tweedles'. I couldn't resist using them again today on this art journal.

I started this page with model paste and a Dutch Doobadoo stencil. I applied the paste at the top and the left of the page. I coloured it with a variety of sprays, acrylic paint and gelatos.. Yes, I know it is a lot. I just couldn't get it the way I wanted it.... I succeeded in the end though..
I used white and orange ink with stencils for a bit more interest. I also used quite a few stamps to stamp the background.
A scrap of paper that was coloured with twinkling H2Os was used for the flags and the grounding for the "Tweedles". They were stamped on special marker paper. I have been wanting to try that for ages and I did have some of it for ever in my stash but only today I tried it. It works well but I think nice smooth card stock works just as well. I cut them out and placed them on the little 'pointy' border. I forgot to mention that a inked all the edges with Archival Jet Black ink. The sentiment was lying in my stash for a while now and I thought I'd use it today. Isn't it funny ! It was typed with an old typewriter on white cardstock.  That was it....

It is love that makes the impossible possible..

Hello fellow Crafters,

I made a little art journal spread today. It is only small..

I started with Grunge Paste and a Tim Holtz stencil for the numbers when that had dried I used a blue Gelato and a blue water-soluble crayon to colour the background. Next I used black and brown archival ink and my fingers to darken the numbers. The polkadots were made with a stencil and white an black ink and again my fingers. The rabbits were lying around in my stash; they were stamped on book text and they were already coloured with colour pencils. I just accentuated some bits with Faber Castell Big Brush Pens. I adhered them to the page with Gel Medium. The sentiment is from a Dina Wakley stamp set by Range. Lastly I dripped some white ink, drew 2 black lines around the pages and put some Mica Flakes down.

Are we having fun yet ??

Hello fellow Crafters !

I am very excited to tell you that I have been chosen to be Guest Designer in the month of November over at VivaLasVegaStamps! This is the first project I did; an art journal.

I made this journal with a gelli print as a base. Of course you could paint a background too. Then use stamps and stencils to create more interest. I used the following VLVS! Stamps in the background : 19416 – Waybill/invoice background / 19454 – Grunge 3 / 19456 – Grunge 5 / 19459 – Grunge 8 and a Crafters Workshop stencil with white ink. Next cut some borders from scraps with a die or a punch and tear some booktext. Adhere randomly to the page. Doodle around the edges of the page. Stamp main images on seperate cardstock, color, cut out and adhere. I reversed the rollerskate using tissuepaper. Stamp sentiment & adhere. I used the following VLVS! Stamps for this : 19036 – Boy in cape / 19419 – Rollerskate (reversed) / 19414 – Toy airplane.

Her are some close-ups :

I also used the following supplies : Gelliprint made with acryllic paint
StaZon ink, Memento, Hero Arts Unicorn white pigment ink and Distress Inks.
TCW stencil : Mini cut circles
Blending tool
Scalloped border punch by Fiskars
Scraps of gelli print & booktext
Tissue paper to reverse rollerskate stamp
Copic Markers
India Ink for splattering

Hope to see you next time !

Living it

Hello fellow Crafters,

and happy Hump Day to you all. Our host today for the weekly challenge over at the Stampotique Designers' blog is the lovely and oh so talented Arwen. Did you know she has her own line of stamps in the Stampotique store. Why not check them out HERE

For her challenge this week she chose the theme "Spotlight" and this is what she said :

"Artwork consist of many small details that make a whole.
This week I would like to see spotlights in your work.
Lift a detail of your artwork especially visible out.
xx Arwen"

And although I might have not understood it properly,  I've decided to post mine anyway:

It is a page in my watercolour Moleskine journal. I started with stamping the lantern on the page and then used washi tape to mask off the part of the page where the light was going to be. I used Mustard Seed Distress ink and a blending tool to create the light. Next I masked off the light and I then used Broken China, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Black soot to create a night sky. I used a white paint pen and put some dots down for the stars. Next I chased some pattern paper for the ground. I used some copic markers in different shades of brown to create the darker part, leaving the original colour for the light pool.
The monsters and the lantern were stamped again on white card stock with Memento. I marked the shadow line on the outside monsters and then coloured all the images with Copic Markers, clear embossed it all and then cut it all out. I went around the edges with a black marker to hide any imperfections in my cutting. After adhering everything to the page I took another Copic Marker and drew and coloured the shadows of the monsters. Lastly I stamped the sentiment and used my white marker to make it stand out a bit more.

Here is a list of all the stamps I used :

Darker than you think..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today I made a little card for Lost Coast Designs. It is a tad darker than you maybe expect from me but I fancied doing something different. I was acually aiming for vintage but then spotted the book title which became my sentiment. I suppose that made it a bit more sinister !

I used some patterned paper that I aged with Distress ink and waterdrops. I die cut a circle in a bit of hessian fabric, ruffled and inked the edges and used part of the "Waiting for Mr. Wright" stamp to stamp both the fabric and the background panel. Next I stamped the lady's face from the "Up close and Personal" stamp set on a piece of blank book text and the eyes from the same set a few times on the background panel. Next I used two circle dies to cut the ring to place on top of the fabric. The face was glued on the background panel, the fabric on top and the die cut ring on top of that. I used a bottle top to stamp the rings with black Archival ink. I then spotted the book title in the front of the book I have been using for crafting and thought that went very well with the whole card. Lastly I dripped some white ink over the whole thing and put the white spots in the eyes which really brings them to life I think...

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it....

And the winner is....

Good morning fellow Crafters,

I've picked a winner ! Yay.. I started off by writing everybody's name down and putting them all in a heap :

Loving everything about this - especially the color combo and the use of the Ticket For Paris stamp in the background!! So funny! :)

So, Congratulations Valerie; if you would like to send your address to: corrie.herriman at hotmail dot nl, I will send him floating !

Just be yourself

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today is the 1st of November and that means it is my turn to produce something for Roc's DT.
I did a little art journal :

First thing I did was put the butterflies on the pages. I used a stencil and some model paste for this. After this dried I gessoed the whole thing. I then stamped the 'just be' and 'yourself' on it with Archival Jet black ink.
I coloured the pages with some water soluble crayons and some sprays. I used yellows, oranges, pink and a bit of purple. No entirely sure whether I like it or not.. it is a little different to what I usually do but one needs to experiment occasionally doesn't one ? I then coloured in the words with Big Brush pens and a white paint pen. I had to go over the stamped image with a black fine liner again.
I rubbed the butterflies with a bright pink crayon and then used a white pen, rubbed it some more and then quite liked it. Next I stamped the Heart Vine and coloured the stems and the hearts. The lady was made by partly colouring and partly paper piecing with pattern paper and a bit of coloured card I had lying on my desk which happened to be the right colour. She was put together on the page.
That was basically it. I used the following stamps for this page :
You can find all those fabulous 'Roc Stamps' HERE. As you probably know they are being sold through Stampotique
