The November Challenge over at Art Journey is titled 'fantasy'. I made an art journal :
I don't own many Art Journey stamps, but thought I could play along with what I had. The background was made with blue and green Brusho's. (Jury's still out as to whether I like them or not). and Glass Bead Gel and a stencil. I die cut some flowers with the Tim Holtz tattered floral die. I doodled around the green flowers and around the edge of the paper. The man's head was stamped and cut out and adhered in the heart of the flowers.
I used the following Art Journey stamps :
- Ripple
- Steampunk 3
- the number which I got as a present
Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it...
Leuk zoals je een oplossing hebt gevonden Corrie...en met weinig AJ stempels toch een aansprekende AJ gemaakt hebt!

ReplyDeleteA bit eerie, perhaps, but I find myself mezmorized by the men in the heart of the flowers! I do like the background, Corrie, but not sure how difficult it was to achieve. Would appreciate a follow up on this.
ReplyDeleteHi Kay, I bought some Golden Glass Bead gel and this was the first time I tried it with a stencil. So that was the start of this page. After that dried I sprinkled a little blue and even less green Brusho over the pages and then sprayed water over it. As I thought is became to uniform I sprinkled more blue Brusho over the stil wet pages and those are the darker spots. Hope this helps !
DeleteThanks, Corrie. I will watch for you to use it again. I will definitely pick up some of that glass bead gel though! ;-)
DeleteQuite an interesting page Corrie - the more I look at it, the more I like it :-)
