Just be yourself

Hello fellow Crafters,

Today is the 1st of November and that means it is my turn to produce something for Roc's DT.
I did a little art journal :

First thing I did was put the butterflies on the pages. I used a stencil and some model paste for this. After this dried I gessoed the whole thing. I then stamped the 'just be' and 'yourself' on it with Archival Jet black ink.
I coloured the pages with some water soluble crayons and some sprays. I used yellows, oranges, pink and a bit of purple. No entirely sure whether I like it or not.. it is a little different to what I usually do but one needs to experiment occasionally doesn't one ? I then coloured in the words with Big Brush pens and a white paint pen. I had to go over the stamped image with a black fine liner again.
I rubbed the butterflies with a bright pink crayon and then used a white pen, rubbed it some more and then quite liked it. Next I stamped the Heart Vine and coloured the stems and the hearts. The lady was made by partly colouring and partly paper piecing with pattern paper and a bit of coloured card I had lying on my desk which happened to be the right colour. She was put together on the page.
That was basically it. I used the following stamps for this page :
