Today I made another tag, well I made a few, but can only show you one because the others are for a swap and a Challenge I will be hosting in February.
So this one I can show you:
I used a Manilla tag #8 and sprayed it with Dylusions in Lemon Zest, Dirty Martini and Fresh Lime. I used a stencil and the ghosting technique where you spay water through a stencil and mop up the water to leave a image of your stencil. It's very faint but it is the circle design on the right hand side of the tag. After a bit of background stamping I decided to use Stampotique's Goat Monster. I put him on another Stampotique stamp called Tenticurl. I also used a few rub ons and choose Poker Face which I think he has. Lastly I mounted the tag on black cardstock and put the ribbon through.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you like it.....

He is fabulous as is your tag.
ReplyDeleteI like the ghosting technique on your background as it might be subtle but it still creates a beautiful pattern.

Indeed, Poker Face is perfect for Goat Monster! Love that you used Tenticurl for grounding of the image. That one remains on my wish list! Good ink choices, too, Corrie. I love using the ghosting technique. I haven't done it for quite a while, buy was reminded recently in Dyan Reaveley's class!
ReplyDeleteLove this tag with your so funny Poker face, and your background technique is very effective and beautiful !! Happy Sunday Corrie. Coco xx
