Cheers..

Hello fellow Crafters,

Also today I made this quick art journal with a gelli print background:

I cut the gelli print to size so it fitted in my journal. I used my new "ripple' stamp again (Art Journey) to stamp over the background. I also used my bottle top to stamp the rings (also around the letters later). The '3 waiters' stamp is from Lost Coast Designs and I hadn't used it yet. I stamped them on white card stock with Versafine and clear embossed them. I then cut them out and adhered them to my page on some washi tape. The letters are from Stampotique and I stamped them on vellum, clear embossed them and punched them out with a circle punch. I then did the stitch lines around the outside and glued them on the page. Lastly I inked the edges of the page and adhered it into my journal.

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it !!!

  5. You seem to have a whole family of new stamps that I am so loving, Corrie! Great use of those Gelli prints, too! I love the coordinating (horizontal strips) washi tape. Fun choice! Now, I know you "glued" your vellum letter in place, but what did you use? I see no adhesive--a continuing problem for me! Have a great Mother's Day, my friend!

    1. I am pleased you spotted my deliberate use of stripey washi tape. Vellum is always a problem, also for me. In this case I spread glossy accents over the whole vellum piece evenly. This is ok-ish as there are no blobs showing. In the blogpost underneath, I stapled the vellum to some coordinating pattern paper and then glued the paper down. Hope you are having a fab time and a great mother's day. Judging from your picture you were
      enjoying yourself !! Mwah !
