Give me the chocolate

Hello fellow Crafters,

I have made another art journal this afternoon. I still had a couple of Lost Coast Designs Stamps I hadn't used yet. So I decided to let the "boxer" out of the drawer. This is what I made :

The background colour of these pages was made with Pan Pastels. I used a few shades of yellow, some green and a tiny bit of blue. I used my new Art Journey "Ripple" stamp again. I love this stamp.  I used Peeled Paint (=green) Distress Ink to stamp it.
Next I stamped some script with grey Stazon; this turned out very subtle. Also I used a stencil with white and black ink to create a bit more interest. Next I used my white paint marker to splatter some white ink drops on the background.
I stamped 'boxer' on booktext; actually I stamped him quite a few times on different papers, with different inks until I decided which one looked the best. I put him on some washi tape. I used some more book text on the edges of the pages and under the word 'chocolate'.
The sentiment was made with sticky letters. I don't know where I got that from but it was probably the internet. (I have about 10 pages of quotes, mostly collected from the internet )

Thanks for stopping by !

Hope you like it...

  3. Ha, jij ook aan de PanPastels dit weekend... Weer met die gave rondjes-stempel... Die tekst zou hier in huis zo maar een gezegd kunnen worden... Mooi die combi met de boxer! Groetjes, Gerrina

  4. Another great journal spread, Corrie! I love the color of the background--maybe because it is so Springlike--and using the Peeled Paint for stamping "Ripple" is pure genius! Great new "boxer" image. I have not allowed myself to buy any stamps other than Stampotique since January--I think I need to break out of that rut once in a while!
