Over at Roc's FB page every month there is a swap of some sort.. This month the theme is a 'Swapperoo' postcard. This means that you make a new image with bits of other images. Needless to say that the sky is the limit. I made this postcard today :
This was great fun to make. I started with a piece of card stock which measures 6 x 4 inches and painted it with yellow and orange acrylic paints. The word imagine was made using a stencil and embossing ink. I then white embossed it. Next I used an edge punch to scallop a piece of polkadot pattern paper. This was then glued onto the card and doodled around with a black pen. I used one of Roc's stamps for the curly bits at the top, they were coloured with black and white pens.
Then the fun started. I used a whole bunch of stamps to create the woman; there is a list at the bottom of this post. All bits were stamped, coloured with copics, cut out and put together..
This new woman was then placed on some washi tape to ground her...
I used the following stamps:
Heart Vine (curly bits at the top)
Blessed Skellie (legs and feet)
Just be U (little bird on her shoulder)
Stacked cups (hat)
Dog (in the cup)
Daisy head (face)
Thank you for stopping by ! Have a great Easter weekend !
