This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday! For today's Vera Lane Studio post I have made a card and an ATC.

This clean and simple card was made with the set "Starlight" that came out this week. I started with washi tape and some stencilled card to make a base for her to stand on. She was printed, coloured and cut out. I adhered her over the coloured card. I added the sentiment from the same set.

You'll find this set HERE.

This ATC was made with a gelli printed piece of paper. I added stamping and doodling and a piece of washi tape for him to stand on. He was printed, coloured and cut out. I adhered him onto the card. He is from a set called Messengers and you will find it HERE.

This week at Vera Lane Studio

Hello everyone,

and Happy Thursday to you ! For today's Vera Lane Studio post I have made three little projects.

The first is a clean and simple card with this week's release called 'Be wise'. I just printed, coloured and cut her out before adhering her to a white card. I also used some pattern paper and a bit of washi tape. The word smart is from the sentiment.

This little owl is also from the 'Be wise' set. He is so cute !
I printed, coloured and cut him out. Adhered him to the ATC after sticking a die cut on it which is his branch to sit on. A clippings sticker finished it off.

You'll find the 'Be wise' set HERE.

I also made a quick postcard with a piece of patterned paper and this girl which is from an older set called 'Besties' She is still availabe on request. Again I printed, coloured and cut her out and simply adhered her to a postcard sized piece of patterned paper.

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

What the quack

Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create GDT post I have made a one layer card.

There isn't much too it so here goes:

I stamped all the images from the two stamp sets, masking as I went along. I wanted the ducks to be in the 'windows'.

I then coloured everything with watercolours, trying to keep it a little artsy and not too precise.

Some close ups.

When I was happy with it I splattered some white and black paint on it. I then layered the panel on a piece of black card stock and then onto a white card.

These ducks crack me up..

I have used two stamp sets:

#78 - Quirky circles by Louise Nelson
#135 - Quack the Duck by Olga Heldwein

Famous

Hello everyone,

For today's VivaLasVegaStamps! post I have made something different. I still haven't a lot of inspiration and what I tend to do when that happens, is trying different things. These things aren't always successful ! lol

So, this really, really simple card was made by stamping the dandelion seed repeatedly over the postcard. I then added black splatters.
Next I stamped Marilyn, coloured her with Copics, cut her out and adhered her on the card. I then stamped the sentiment, matted it on black card stock and adhered that with dimensional adhesive. Lastly I matted the card on black card stock as well.

I used three stamps for this card:

 Other materials:
Copic Markers
VersaFine Clair Nocturne
Memento
white and black card stock
black India ink

It's one of those days

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blogpost for Katzelkraft where today I am sharing a clean and simple card.

Sometimes it is really nice to make clean and simple cards. This was was fun to make and quick too. I stamped the girl with the umbrella and the sentiment, coloured the girl with Copic Markers and lengthened the line under her feet to go across the card. I added some colour underneath it too.

I used the following stamps:

This week at Vera Lane Studio.

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my weekly Vera Lane Studio blogpost.

For this week I have made a postcard with the newly released "Under my Umbrella" and a tag with the "Windows" set and little "Stephanie". The postcard is CaS and the tag was made on gelli printed paper.  All the images were coloured with Copic Markers.

Isn't she fabulous. I added some washi tape and a scrap of paper for her to stand on. The background was made with a stencil and Distress ink with a blending tool.

You'll find this cutie HERE

I cut this tag from a gel print, added the 'wall' stencilling and then added the window with lil' Stephanie on top. A bit of doodling and a sticker finished it off.

You'll find Stephanie HERE

Illustrate your life

Hello everyone,

I was asked by Abs to make some samples with the new release stamps for the AALL & Create Hochanda shows ! Of course I couldn't say no to that !

This one is a tag and it is quite clean and simple:

And here's how I made it:

I stamped the image twice, once with VersaFine ink which is nice and black and once with Memento because I wanted to colour the pencils with my Copics and Memento is good for that. I also stamped the right hand side once more with Memento to use as sentiments.

After colouring the pencils and some of the words I cut everything out and adhered it to the tag at the bottom.

I matted the words on black card stock as well the whole tag. I added a ring around the whole which I coloured with my Copic Markers too. I couldn't resist gluing the words back on crooked !

I have used the following AALL & Create materials:

Stamp #165 - Numbered pencils by Tracy Evans.

Do small things with great passion

Hello everyone,

I was asked by Abs to make some samples for AALL & Create's shows on Hochanda TV. Of course I did ! This is the first one and it is a CaS card.

and here's how:

I stencilled and 'printed' this stencil on a piece of white card stock with Distress Oxide Ink.

Next I stamped a part of this fabulous A4 stamp by Tracy Evans.

Coloured it with my favourite red Copic combo and cut it out.

I just glued the Ladybird on the top but did use some dimensional adhesive under the middel of the body to make it look a little rounder. I also added a layer of Glossy Accents over its body to make it shine.

I have used the following AALL & Create materials:

Stamp #161 Ladybug by Tracy Evans
Stencil #63 Woodpile by Autour de Mwa

It's a beautiful day ..

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blogpost for Katzelkraft this week. I have made a mini artjournal page but kept it clean and simple for today. I still really like the cats and the rats and sometimes I feel just like he does ! lol

This was made on a piece of Bristol card stock. I stamped the animals with Archival Ink in Jet Black and coloured them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush. A snarky sticker finished it off.

I used the following stamp sets:

This is all very amusing

Hello everyone,

I would like to share a CaS card for Katzelkraft with you today. Sometimes CaS cards make a nice change from all the busy Mixed Media stuff that I normally do. So here it is :

I stamped the pig first and masked it; then I stamped the violinist. I coloured both figures with Copic Markers and added some ground underneath them, also with Copics. The sentiment came out of a book.

I have used these stamps today:

Ninette and her sisters

Hello everyone,

and Happy Thursday to you all !

For today's inspiration I have made two little projects. The first is an Ultra CaS card and the second is an Art journal spread.

Sometimes I really enjoy making CaS cards but because it is really out of my comfort zone it takes me almost as long as a full blown AJ page. lol
In this case I coloured the lovely Ninette, cut her out and placed her on a cluster of a strip of design paper, some washi tape and a Tim Holtz Chit Chat sticker. I think it works !

You'll find Ninette HERE.

For the second one I painted the background of a journal page, added some stencilling and then used some of the girls from past releases to make this page. These are the pre-coloured ones that come with their colourful dresses. I coloured the rest of them.

You'll find all the girls HERE:
