 Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create project I have made a card with a VIDEO tutorial:

and here's how; I am sorry but I didn't take many photos as I was filming, so if you want to know how I made this just scroll down to the YouTube link...

anyway, I started with making print with this stencil. this is not the one I used in my project but I forgot to take pics... lol

I coloured the flowers separately and cut them out.
\

I coloured the leaves with watercolour markers directly on the card and added the coloured flowers after I cut them out.

The sentiment...

Daylight dreams - an accordion book

 Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create project I have made an accordion book. I have seen Tracy and Abs make them and thought I would have a go. That was all I knew, I hadn't thought about what stamps etc I was going to use. So I just sat down and grabbed one thing at the time out of my AALL & Create stash and just started. It turned out very colourful !

This is the inside.

The front..

.. and the back.

Here's how:

I started by diecutting this to add to my book.

I cut it in half and adhered one half to each of the covers for my book. I will get back to these later. First I decided to work on the book instead.

I cut a piece of paper and folded it in 3 and added a single piece at the right to make it 4 rectangles. I attached the last piece with a piece of washi tape.
I used this stencil and Distress Oxide inks to print on the paper. I used Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry.

Next I used this stamp set and the same Distress Oxide inks to add some more interest. I saw Abs doing this and thought I'd give it a go. Looks pretty !

Of course it needs black stamping too. I used parts of this fab stamp by Tracy.

Next I added pieces of washi tape along some of the edges. Later I also added some black acrylic paint, mainly to the areas with the black stamping.

Next I grabbed this stamp set (love the lotus flowers) and stamped some flowers and cut them out. I am going to collage these onto my book.

Here you can see the black paint and the flowers I adhered.

Next the focal image; this crab. I coloured him and cut him out. I did the same with the sentiment, again staying in the same-ish colours.

Isn't he fabulous ! I coloured him with watercolour markers.

Here you see the inside of the finished booklet.

I used blues, yellows and greens for the crab.

Next were the covers:

I decided to used acrylic paints on the covers, mainly because I adhered the die-cuts with gel medium and inks don't really take to that. I did used the same sort of colours. Next I used my brayer and white paint to get the texture to stand out more and to tone the colours down slightly.

Next I used the same stencil again with white paint and a blending tool.

Stamping with the same stamp sets I used for the books and the same inks too. But because I was stamping on paint I clear embossed the stamping; it won't dry if you don't, or very, very, very slowly.
I used some washi tape, again the same as on the inside and added black paint.

Also here, I used some of the same lotus flowers. This is the book from the back with the covers glued on.
You can just see the washi tape I used to put the pages together.

The inside (front) of the book.

I'd love to talk..

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I have a card to share that I made for AALL & Create.

And here's how:

I used white embossing powder by WOW to heat emboss this fab stamp onto my panel.  After melting the powder and letting it cool, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry to add colour over the top. The embossing acts as a resist. Cool effect I think.

Next I added a few slivers of this washi tape and also stamped some of the smallest print of this stamp very carefully between the embossed bits and next to the washi tape.

I can't get enough of this rabbit because he is very cute, but today he seems to be more rude than cute.. I decided I wanted him uncoloured so I just added some shading here and there.

This is how he came out. Next I cut him out.

and adhered him onto my card panel. I also added a snarky sticker by Tim Holtz which makes him a rude rabbit.... lol When this was all done I added some doodle lines underneath the word strips, added some black paint on the edges and glued the panel onto a white card base.

I have used the following AALL & Create products:

Acrylic block - border

Washi:
#2 - Inspire by Autour de Mwa

Stamps:
#400 - Numerator by Tracy Evans
#438 - Ephemera Digits by Tracy Evans
#446 - I'm late by Olga Heldwein

It's a story

  Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a mini journal spread that I made for and with VivaLasVegaStamps!

For this spread I used the normal Distress Inks, I added them onto the pages with a blending tool after I heat embossed the swirls. I added stamping, splattering and black paint around the edges.
This cool chick is one of Tina Walker's scribble girls and I stamped her, coloured her and cut her out. I then adhered her to the page. The sentiment is also from Tina.

I used the following stamps:

Other materials:
Distress Inks, Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick
Inks : Versafine Clair - Morning Mist, Nocturne and Summertime
White pen
WOW embossing powder
Zig Clean Colour Real brush markers
Black acrylic paint

Fritillaria

Hello everyone,

I have been struggling with making my projects as my mojo has left me... So to try and get myself motivated again, I always try to do something different. So for today I have a really simple card...

So here's how I made it.

I put this stamp into my stamping tool and coloured it with watercolour makers, I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, but any watercolour markers or even crayons would work. I used a few shades of green for the leaves, a few shades of yellow and orange for the flower and grey for the rest. I then spritzed with water and printed. There were some spots that didn't stamp well so I repeated the proces.. Next I took the stamp out, cleaned it and just repeated the grey on the areas that had no stamping.

I then used coloured pencils to add more colour. I inked up the edges and used a bottle top to stamp some circles. The sentiment was restamped with VersaFine Clair ink and cut out. I mounted it on grey card stock and adhered it to the card panel. I then adhered the panel to a white basic card.

Simple but effective I think.

I only used one stamp for this card:
#274 - Fritillaria by Tracy Evans
