31

 Hello everyone,

For this week's AALL & Create project I have made one more Halloween project. I have had enough now! Lol, it isn't even celebrated in Holland!

Here's how I made it:

I couldn't work as I always work with these stamps because the Frightful Manor is impossible to cut out. So are the trees. That's why I started with stamping a scene on watercolour paper using stamps #1237 and #1232. I used Versafine ink because I wanted to use watercolours.

Next I cut out '31' from die set #38 because Halloween is on the 31st of October.

I watercoloured the scene and the numbers, this took me quite a long time.

Next I added some stencilling with stencil #59 and some coloured pencil here and there to add some accents and shading.

I also added stamping using stamp sets #1162 and #1110 and inks that matched the background.

Next: rub-ons from set #12.

I also added some washi tape #21 and some doodling along the edges.  I glued the number on and added some white highlights here and there. Lastly I splattered some acrylic paint on it using Posca pens in white and purple. I added a black mat.

I have used:
Die #38 - Counting Circles
Rub-ons #12 - Coffee Numberistic by Autour De Mwa & Co
Washi tape #21- Beach Rock by Janet Klein
Stencil # 59 - Weathered Tiles by Autour De Mwa
Stamps:
#1232 - Gang Avenue by Autour De Mwa & Co
#1110 - Time Heals All by Autour De Mwa & Co
#1237 - Frightful Manor by Autour De Mwa & Co
#1162 - Cirque by Autour De Mwa & Co

Everyday is a journey

 Hello everyone,

Happy September !

For this week's AALL & Create project I have made an artjournal page.

Here's how I made this:

I used a piece of 6 x 6 watercolour paper and Distress Oxide inks Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry for the background. I then stencilled over that with white ink and heat embossed it with white powder. This way the underlying ink colour doesn't come through.

Next step was stamping randomly with the same Distress Oxide Inks and VersaFine Clair inks in grey and black. I also went around the edges with the black VersaFine.

Next I stamped these flowers

and coloured them with Copics and paint pens. I also used a very light blue coloured pencil to add a little colour here and there. I kept them light so they would stand out on the colourful background.

I added a few pieces of washi tape, just for fun! lol

The sentiment..

and here it is all together. I think it came out nice.

I have used the following products:

Stencil: #157 - Twisting & Turning by Tracy Evans
Washi tape : #61 - Harvest Time by Janet Klein
Stamps: (all by Tracy Evans)
#304 - Heartfelt
#533 - Bring On The Sentiments
#543 - Reckoner Digits
#625 - Vine
#924 - Flower Trio

Tag: wishing you all the best for AALL & Create

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a tag I made for AALL & Create.

Here's how I made this

This is a piece of gelli printed (mop-up) paper that I cut smaller and made into a tag.

I stamped the image on it to colour straight on the tag.

I added a little bit of background stamping

Added some stencilling

I then coloured the image with a mixture of watercolour markers and coloured pencils. It was not easy and colouring a separately stamped image is much easier.

I added a few pieces of washi tape

Stamped the sentiment

Here it is, all put together, I added some black lines and white splatters too.

I have used the following products:

Stencil #110 Digits Checked by Bipasha Bl

Washi tape #60 - Melon Seeds by Janet Klein

Stamps: (All by Bipasha)

#552 - Scripted Cross
#443 - Scripted Circles
#630 - Basic Sentiments
#916 - Exodus Dreams

Big hugs

 Hello everyone,

Time for another project for AALL & Create today and I have made a card with Tracy's designs.

Here's how:

I started off with a piece of a gelliprint that I made with this stencil. It was 6 x 6 and I cut it down to fit a white card.

I chose this flower as a focal point. I bent the stem a little before stamping.

Here it is coloured. I used Copic Markers and a bit of coloured pencil.

I then stamped the background. I did add a little bit of white paint with my fingers around the cut sides to make it more like the rest of the print. I also added white splatters and I toned it down a little with a brayer and some white paint especially in the area where the flower head would go. That way it stands out more.

I glued the flower and the sentiment in place and added some black lines here and there. Lastly I glued the panel onto a white card.

I have used the following AALL & Create products:

Stencil #155 - Folium by Tracy Evans

Stamps:
#543 - Reckoner Digits by Tracy Evans
#625 - Vine by Tracy Evans
#304 - Heartfelt by Tracy Evans
#978 - Hexapetalistic by Tracy Evans

Untamed Beauty

 Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create post, the last one for this year, I have made a card. I have used stamps, inks, embossing powder and watercolours. I really like the effect.

Here's how:

First, I heat embossed the rose stamp in two corners and the left side. I used a brush to get rid of the numbers in the image. Because of the way I stamped them, the ended up upside down. I then used watercolours to roughly colour the flowers and the leaves. I think it looks great.

The next thing was adding some stamping. I used the same green watercolour paint to stamp the diamonds and black Versafine Clair ink to stamp the text and to go around the edges of the card.

Next I stamped the bird from this set.

and coloured him. I used watercolours and a little bit or coloured pencil.

I stamped the sentiment which is the text underneath the roses.

After I cut out the bird I glued everything onto the card panel en attached the card panel to a white card.

I have used the following AALL & Create stamps, all by Bipasha Bk

#470 - Scripted Diamonds
#457 - Background Voices
#746 - Dreams That Blossom
#709 - Lighted Florals

Take flight

 Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create GDT post I have made a card.

Here's how I made it:

First I cut a piece of watercolour paper to the size of a card topper. I then stamped Dominic's butterfly on it. This stamp is my absolute favourite from Dominic's first collection.

I added watercolours loosely all over the butterfly and sprayed some water over it to make it run outside the lines.

I then used coloured pencils to add some more colour to the butterfly itself.

Next I used the dots of this stencil to add some more interest. I used coloured pencils in the same colours as I used for the butterfly.

Next, I added some strips of washi tape to frame the image. I also splattered some white paint on it using a Posca Paint pen.

I then drew a line around the card and added some more stamping using this set by Tracy.

The panel was then glued onto a card.

I have used the following AALL & Create materials:

Stencil:
#139 - Snow Pines by Janet Klein

Stamps:
#772 - Magical Realm by Dominic Phillips
#729 - Spread Your Wings by Tracy Evans

Washitape:
#24 - Power Words by Bipasha Bk
