This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

and Happy Thursday ! For today's Vera Lane Studio project I have made a card and a postcard. 

This card was made with one of the Dilly's of 'Dilly's Days', I printed her and coloured her with my Copic Markers. I then cut her out and put her aside while I made the background. 

First I heatembossed a background stamp by AALL & Create on it and then dunked it into Distress Oxide inks. I used Mustard Seed, Broken China and a little Lucky Clover. I then added some stamping, washitape and black acrylic paint around the edges. To make her stand out more I added some white acrylic to the area where she is standing.

This postcard was really quick as I had this Journal face ready coloured and cut out. I made a background for her by printing one of Janet's AALL & Create stencils (#118 - Saturday morning) on a piece of Mixed Media paper. I added the face on top once it was dry and stuck down some Tim Holtz Clippings.
