Che Bello

 Hi everyone,

For today's AALL & Create project I have made a postcard.

Here's how:

I used Distress Oxides with blending tools and a stencil to create this background.

I stamped the background a little with the same inks and I added the olive branch at the top right which I coloured with Copics.

A  bit of black stamping along the edges.

The images I planned to to use. I coloured everything with Copic Markers. In the end I didn't use the scooter.

I did add more olives on the left side.

I put down some washi tape and put the images on it. I also glued down the sentiment. A little doodling along the edges and around the sentiment finished it off.

I have used the following products:
(all by Janet Klein)

Stencil #170 - White Lotus
Washi tape #56 - Passport Please

Stamps:
#692 - African Voices
#1015 - Rome Italy
#1017 - Bucket List

This week at Vera Lane Studio

  Hello everyone,

For today's Vera Lane Studio post I am sharing a tag that I made with the set "Hairbows", this set comes with 2 cuties and three bows that you can put on them. So fun!

I used a gelli print from my stash for the background but I toned it down quite heavily with white paint and a brayer and also added white embossing with a stamp and around the edges. I stamped here and there with pink Archival ink and one of Janet's stamps by AALL & Create.

I put a piece of washi tape down, also by Janet, and put her on it, lastly I added the sentiment and a piece of ribbon.

You can find this cutie in the Etsy Shop HERE.

Tag: wishing you all the best for AALL & Create

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a tag I made for AALL & Create.

Here's how I made this

This is a piece of gelli printed (mop-up) paper that I cut smaller and made into a tag.

I stamped the image on it to colour straight on the tag.

I added a little bit of background stamping

Added some stencilling

I then coloured the image with a mixture of watercolour markers and coloured pencils. It was not easy and colouring a separately stamped image is much easier.

I added a few pieces of washi tape

Stamped the sentiment

Here it is, all put together, I added some black lines and white splatters too.

I have used the following products:

Stencil #110 Digits Checked by Bipasha Bl

Washi tape #60 - Melon Seeds by Janet Klein

Stamps: (All by Bipasha)

#552 - Scripted Cross
#443 - Scripted Circles
#630 - Basic Sentiments
#916 - Exodus Dreams

This week at Vera Lane Studio

Hello everyone,

This weeks's Vera Lane Studio project is a journal page.

After printing, colouring and cutting the images out I seearched for a background in my stash. I found this gelli print that had the right colours. I just added some orange for balance. I also added some background stamping.
I arranged the images, some washi tape and some of Janet's travel ephemera on the page and when I was happy with the positioning I glued everything down. The sentiment and some doodling finished it off.

You'll find this adorable walker HERE

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

Big hugs

 Hello everyone,

Time for another project for AALL & Create today and I have made a card with Tracy's designs.

Here's how:

I started off with a piece of a gelliprint that I made with this stencil. It was 6 x 6 and I cut it down to fit a white card.

I chose this flower as a focal point. I bent the stem a little before stamping.

Here it is coloured. I used Copic Markers and a bit of coloured pencil.

I then stamped the background. I did add a little bit of white paint with my fingers around the cut sides to make it more like the rest of the print. I also added white splatters and I toned it down a little with a brayer and some white paint especially in the area where the flower head would go. That way it stands out more.

I glued the flower and the sentiment in place and added some black lines here and there. Lastly I glued the panel onto a white card.

I have used the following AALL & Create products:

Stencil #155 - Folium by Tracy Evans

Stamps:
#543 - Reckoner Digits by Tracy Evans
#625 - Vine by Tracy Evans
#304 - Heartfelt by Tracy Evans

Travel

 Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create GDT post I have made a 6 x 6 card/artjournal page. I have used some of the new products and some old ones too.

Here's how I made this:

I started with brayering a layer of light blue paint on my card stock.

When the blue paint was dry I bartered over a layer of white acrylic paint and before it dried I put this stencil on the card and wiped away the paint in the stencil openings with a baby wipe. This gave a really nice effect I think.

Next I heat embossed parts of this stamp with white embossing powder.

I also stamped it a few times with grey ink.

Some text, I always stamp some text.

With paint pens I added some splatters.

I added some washi tape to put my focal point on and a few pieces around the edges.

Next, I stamped the focal point. This is really a Christmas set but I wanted to show that you can use it in another way too.

Here is is all put together. I went around the edges with a black ink pad and added a piece of Janet's ephemera which inspired the colours of this page.

I have used the following products:

Stencil #171 -Circle Dance by Janet Klein
Washi tape #56 - Passports Please by Janet Klein
Ephemera #14 - Let's Go by Janet Klein

Stamps:
#692 - African Voices by Janet Klein
#895 - Passport Stamps by Janet Klein
#1000 - All Aboard by Autour de Mwa & Co

I added some of Janet's washi tape and some stamping and placed the little girl on the card. I then added the sentiment and some black doodle lines.
