Longing for the sun

 Hello everyone, 

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a tag I made for AALL & Create. It expresses my feelings on the day I made it. We are having a very cold and wet Spring and I so wish it would turn to Summer! 

Here's how:

First I created the background with acrylic paint. I painted the tag green, dried it and then painted over with turquoise. Whilst the paint was still wet I put the stencil on and wiped away the wet paint with a baby wipe. Next I put the stencil back on and added a little white here and there.

I then added some flowers that I cut out of this washi tape by Janet Klein. 

I then stamped and coloured the girl. 

And here is everything put together. I added some shading under her feet and some black lines along the edges and around the words which are clippings stickers by Tim Holtz.
