The adventure begins

Hello everyone,

Today's Katzelkraft post is an art journal spread.

This was fun to make. I started with heat embossing the flourishes with white powder and then colouring the pages with Distress Oxide Inks in Mustard Seed and Wild Honey. I then stamped the same flourish with the Wild Honey ink.  

Next I added the dots with a grey ink and doodled around the page with a white pen. I used the same pen to add splatters. I then stamped the sentiment straight on the page. 

The Meerkats and balloon were stamped on the page and on separate card stock, coloured them with Copic Markers  and cut them out. I adhered them onto the ones on the pages, adding a piece of washi tape underneath the left one to ground him.
