Positive vibes

Hello everyone,

and welcome to my blog where today I have a triptych to show you that I have made with the mad Llama stamp from AALL & Create ! He is so much fun !

Here it is and here is how I made it :

I started off with colouring the Llama three times. I stamped him on Neenah card stock which is ideal for Copics. There is a stamp of a tiny pair of glasses in the set and I stamped it over his eyes.

Here they are all ready ! I did use some coloured pencil over the bodies as I couldn't seem to get the colour right with  just my Copics. Maybe I have not enough of them... lol

Here you can see the pieces of grey board I cut with my craft knife/scissors for the triptych.

A layer of gesso and some collage with book pages and they are ready to go !

I chose paints in the same colours as the Llamas' hair. I did add a darker shade of each afterwards...

Here is how that is looking. Next I am stamping and stencilling the background.
So, I got very carried away and forgot to snap any more photos... sorry

This is the blue Llama.

the pink....

and lastly, the green.
I think it came out super cute. The stencilling I did was on the back, you can see it in the photo at the bottom.

  4. I love using the same stamp multiple times in the same project and your triptych here is a perfect example of that! Three llamas with three unique personalities! The brightness of the colors chosen makes this a happy piece. Great job, Corrie! Mwah!
