This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

For today's Vera Lane Studio post I have made two ATC's.

Isn't this reindeer cute? I love his/her jumper ! I printed the reindeer, then coloured with Copics and cut it out. The ATC is just a piece of designer paper from an old Christmas collection. I added some beige acrylic paint where the Reindeer was going to go so it would stand out more. I then added the washi and a piece of the reverse side of the designer paper and put the reindeer on it. Lastly I added the sentiment which is from the same set.

You'll find the Reindeer Games set HERE.

I can't get enough of these 'scary' cuties and had to use this one. She is called Onion for obvious reasons, lol. I printed and coloured her with Copic Markers and cut her out. The background is a piece of gelli print from my stash on which I added some stamping, doodling and washi tape. I placed her on top of the washi to ground her and added the sentiment which consists of clippings stickers by Tim Holtz.

You'll find Onion and her friend Tool HERE.

Thank you for stopping by today !

Make art not war

  Hello everyone,

For today's VivaLasVegaStamps! project I have made an artjournal page and I had to use some Banksy inspired stamps again. I simply love them !

The background was made by painting it turquoise and lime and adding stencilling with the same colours, white and dark pink acrylic paint. I used Dina Wakley acrylics. I also used a brayer and white paint to tone the whole thing down again. I added stamping, doodling and washi tape and placed the soldiers on the top of the washi tape to ground them. The sentiment was cut apart and glued onto the page. I added some of the dark pink paint along the bottom edges of the words and at the end of the brush that the soldier on the right is holding.

I have used the following stamps:

I also used:
Dina Wakley acrylic paints:
Turquoise - Lime - Fuchsia
Amsterdam Acrylics Titanium White
Archival Inks - Aquamarine - Leaf Green - Jet Black
Washi tape
Posca white paint pen

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Birthday wishes

 Hello everyone,

For today's GDT project for AALL & Create I have made a birthday card. We all need them, don't we. So here you can see that you don't need a lot of materials to make one.

and here is how:

On a piece of Kraft paper I stencilled some of the flowers of this stencil with Distress Oxide ink. I used Kitsch Flamingo and Twisted Citron.

Next I stamped this little girl and coloured her then cut her out.

I chose this sentiment from one of Tracy's stamp sets.

And here it is all put together on my panel.

I glued the panel onto a card of the same paper.

I have used :
Stencil #138 - Rosy Posy by Bipasha Bk

Stamps:
#510 - Grow by Janet Klein
#451 - In the Bucket by Tracy Evans

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday !

Today's Vera Lane Studio Project is a postcard and a tag.

This cutie is from a set that was released this week and it is called "Dailies". I coloured her with Copics and cut her out. The background is a gelli print. The circles have been created with a coaster from Ikea. I added some stamping and washi tape, both by AALL & Create and placed her on the card. Lastly I added two words from the set and some doodle lines.

You'll find her and her friends HERE

This tag was made with ready coloured images from the Halloween collage sheet which is still available on request. The background is a gelli print on which I added a little stamping, a black line all around and some washi tape to ground the image.

Thank you for stopping by today !

Mischief

 Hello everyone,

For today's project for AALL & Create I have made a Halloween themed postcard. I used a brand-new stamp for the background and some old ones of the focal points.

Here's how:

I started with a piece of 6" x 4" card stock. I sprayed some Distress Oxide Sprays on my craft sheet together with some water and dipped my card into it, drying it in between colours.
Next I toned it down with white paint and a brayer.

Next I stamped this spiderweb with bats and heat embossed it with clear powder. This stamp is brand new by Bipasha.

I chose these little Quirks by Olga because I love them. They come out once a year! I coloured them with Copic Markers and added some white pen details to some of their clothes. I then cut them out.

I shuffled them about for a while but then glued them down where I thought they would look the cutest.

I added some Halloween Clippings stickers and shading underneath  their feet to finish off the card.

I have used the following stamps:

#572 - Spooky Sky by Bipasha Bk
#104 - Quirks Mini by Olga Heldwein
#73 - Quirks by Olga Heldwein

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

For today's Vera Lane Studio projects I have made a card and a postcard.

This cute little girl is from the set "Cookie Swap" that came out this week. I gave her a cookie to carry! I coloured her and cut her out. I also printed, coloured and cut out some cookies. I then made a gelli print with one of Janet's stencils for AALL & Create. I placed her on the card on top of some washi tape.

You'll find her and her cookies HERE

This is my favourite make this week ! I love him, his name is Tool. He was printed, coloured and cut out. I made the background by mopping up some green paints on my craft sheet that hadn't quite dried. I added white paint with my brayer and then stencilled the hearts on it using an AALL & Create stencil. I added some stamping with one of Janet's stamp sets by AALL & Create and put some washi tape across the card. I then placed Tool on it. The sentiment is from the same set called Onion and Tool and you'll find it
