Seeker of all things authentic

Hello everyone,

and welcome to my blogpost for Country View Challenges where today sees another challenge start. It is my turn to host and I have chosen the theme of 'blues and greens' because they are on of my favourite colour combinations. You can use them anyway you like as long as blue and green are the main colours. You are free to use black, white, flesh colour and an accent in any other colour ! Come and play along; there is a £20 voucher to be won !

Here's mine:

and here's how:

First I stamped my focal image and coloured it with my Copics. I used a little grey to shade my white flowers and ochre yellow for the hearts of the flowers.

Next I made my background starting with a layer of gesso. The warped page will get straight again ! I thought to use my Distress Crayons again as I haven't in ages.

Or course I had to tone it down:

First I used a Tim Holtz stencil and white acrylic paint..

Next I used a brayer and some more white paint to tone it down even more.

Next I embossed a stamp with white powder. All stamps I used today are by PaperArtsy. I'll list them at the bottom of this post.

Next some stamping and splattering and I added some doodle lines around the page. By this time I declared my background done and all I had to do was add my focal image and the sentiment.

I have used the following PaperArtsy stamps:

EEA03 - Everything Art
ESC18 - Scrapcosy

Thank you so much for stopping by ! I am counting on you participating !
