Happy freaking everything

Hello everyone,

I was very happy to be asked by Abs of AALL & Create to make some samples for the Creative World fair in Frankfurt in Germany which took place on 26th - 29th of January. I will share all of them in the near future. I hope you'll like these new released stamps by Olga Heldwein ! I will list all the stamps, old and new, under the photos.

I love making 6 x 6 panels, they are not too big but have still lots of room for stamping, inking, stencilling etc. I started this one with dipping it into Distress Oxide inks. I used pink, yellow and a tiny bit of orange. I then used a stencil over the top with Clear modelling paste and also stamped the background. I stamped the cat and the sentiment, coloured the cat, cut both out and adhered them onto the panel. I did die cut a heart out of pattern paper to put under the cat because I thought he didn't stand out enough.

I used the following stamps and stencil:

Stamp set #3
Stamp set #58 Scribble it
Stamp set #171 Moody Kittens
Stencil #59 weathered tiles

You make me nuts

Hello everyone,

I was very happy to be asked by Abs of AALL & Create to make some samples for the Creative World fair in Frankfurt in Germany which took place on 26th - 29th of January. I will share all of them in the near future. I hope you'll like these new released stamps by Olga Heldwein ! I will list all the stamps, old and new, under the photos.

I made this tag by brayer-ing acrylic paint over a piece of card stock that I cut into a tag shape. I added stamping and then stamped the squirrel and coloured him. I cut him and his banner out and adhered them to the tag. I added a rub-on on the banner and added the sentiment which is from the same stamp set.

I used the following stamps:

Stamp set #58 Scribble it
Stamp set #172 Nutty Squirrels

The story teller

Hello everyone,

I was very happy to be asked by Abs of AALL & Create to make some samples for the Creative World fair in Frankfurt in Germany which took place on 26th - 29th of January. I will share all of them in the near future. I hope you'll like these new released stamps by Olga Heldwein ! I will list all the stamps, old and new, under the photos.

How fabulous is this pipe smoking cat ! I inked a piece of card stock with Distress Oxides and then didn't like it ! So I added gesso, stencilling with gesso and stencilling with modelling paste. I also added some stamping. The cat was stamped, coloured and cut out and then adhered onto the card on top of some washi tape. Because he reminded me of someone reminiscing about things, I called him the Story Teller. This is a Clippings sticker by Tim Holtz which I also placed on some washi tape.

I have used the following stamps and stencil:
Stamp set #58 Scribble it
Stamp Set #171 Moody Kittens
Stencil #49 Rota Vitae

Pitter Patter

Hello everyone,

I was very happy to be asked by Abs of AALL & Create to make some samples for the Creative World fair in Frankfurt in Germany which took place on 26th - 29th of January. I will share all of them in the near future. I hope you'll like these new released stamps by Kaitlin Paltridge ! I will list all the stamps, old and new, under the photos.

This set is called "Bundle of Joy" and I have used it to make a set of three ATC's. Of course they would be perfect to make a card for a new baby ! I started with Kraft card stock on which I scraped some gesso. I then used a stencil and Distress Oxides to add the colour. I also did some background stamping. The babies were stamped, coloured and cut out. I adhered then onto two of the cards. The middle card has the sentiment of this set.

I have used the following stamps and stencils:
Stencil #31
Stamp set #142 Edison Game
Stamp set #173 Bundle of Joy

Flowers

Hello everyone,

I have another project for AALL & Create to share today ! On this occasion I have made a card; it started out as bright and cheerful but in the end it is more vintage style ! I still like the end result though....

I have some WIP photos and also a YouTube Tutorial. You'll find the link below.

I started by stamping the flowers and colouring them. I used nice bright colours and then decided they were too bright for the background, so I dulled them down ...

The background made with Distress Oxide inks. I stamped over the top with this fabulous A4 stamp and the same inks.

I used a sentiment from this set to stamp along the edges as a background stamp. I like doing that because I think it gives a great effect !

Some modelling paste through the 'Lotza Dotz' stencil. Of course it took on the colours that are underneath.

And here is the finished card again...

I used stamps #158 - Freestyle Flowers, #58 - Scribble it and stencil #39 - Lotza Dotz.

My path is different

Hello everyone,

and welcome to a new challenge for Country View Challenges. The theme this month is 'black and white' or 'black and white and one other colour' and I chose the latter. I have made an art journal spread and it wasn't without it's difficulties !
I hope you will play along with us this month ! Please read the RULES first !

I have also filmed how I made this so if you are interested please hop over HERE, or click on the pic below:

Why fit in..

Hello everyone,

It's Friday again and that means another project for Katzelkraft. I have made a mini journal page but it could easily have been the front of a card too ! That is the beauty of this hobby, it can be what you want it to be!

The background was made with Brusho powders and a stencil.
Next I stamped over the top with the script in similar colours. I then stamped the sentiment straight on the card and coloured the little heart. Next I stamped the animals on book pages and cute them out. I adhered them onto the card and cut off the excess. Lastly I added the border with a black pen.

I have used the following stamps:
