Hello everyone,
Today a new challenge starts over at Country View Challenges. The theme this month is 'Tags' and is hosted by the lovely Jo. So the idea is to make a stand alone tag. Here's my first inspiration piece:
Here's how I made it:
I first cut the tag out of watercolour paper. I didn't measure but went by the size of the stamp I was going to use. I then dunked it in these Oxide inks until I was happy.
I used a Tim Holtz stencil to add some interest and then, of course I toned it down with white paint and added splatters with pink, orange and white paint pens.
Stamping randomly using the same inks and black. I used the black ink pad to go around the edges too.
The focal is this adorable rabbit from Katzelkraft. I watercoloured him. I also stamped a carrot from the same set.
Here he is.. so cute.
And here it is all put together. I added some washi tape for him to stand on. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz sticker from the Halloween set.
We hope you will play along with us ! You could win a £20 voucher for the shop. Just make sure to read the rules first. You'll find them HERE.
I'll see you soon with another tag !
Wow, what an amazing tag! It's such a fun design and as always I enjoyed seeing how it was created! I love the stunning brightly coloured background that you created with the stenciling and stamping and that adorable bunny rabbit waiting for the carrot to drop, I hope he's not waiting too long ...lol 😊. Thanks for the inspiration and Happy November! Hugs Jo x
