Hello everyone,
Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a postcard that I made for Country View Challenges' new challenge for the month of August with the theme 'Monochromatic'.
Here's how I made it:
First I stamped the main image I was going to use. It is by AALL & Create.
Next I made a stencil print with this AALL & Create stencil and Distress Oxide in Black soot.
This is how that looked.
Next I put the stencil back on the card and stamped through the holes.
I used three shades of grey to add some 'colour' to the rabbit.
When I put the image on the card it didn't stand out very much so I added white paint with my brayer to make the area where he is going to go a little lighter.
Rabbit in place and now adding some AALL & Create washi tape.
Lastly I added a black line around the card with a fine liner and a ruler.
That was that !
We would love you to play along with us ! Just read the rules before you do. You will find them on the CVC blog, link above.
Thanks for stopping by today !
