Paint your own reality

Hello everyone,

It is Saturday again and that means another project for AALL & Create. For today I have made a card.

I started with a piece of MM paper and sprayed it with Distress Oxide Inksprays. I used Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber. I then put the #53 stencil on top and sprayed it with water but it didn't work as well as I expected so to add more interest I dabbed the Distress Oxide pads in Picked Raspberry and Carved pumpkin over the stencil (Not at the same time, lol) and used the stencil as a stamp. That worked ! 

Next I used this fabulous new stamp by Tracy to add a little more interest. I used the Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide to stamp. 

I then added some black by stamping parts of this A4 stamp by Olga. This is a very versatile stamp and every time I look at it I see new bits I can use.. 

I then splattered the card with white paint and doodled around the edges.  Next I stamped little Frida on it. I also stamped her separately to colour and cut out. I stamped the brush and the sentiment too but didn't use the brush in the end. 

When Frida was coloured I cut her out and adhered her to my card panel. I added some washitape and glued the sentiment on. I added some doodles around the bottom and right side of each of the sentiment strips. And that was that !
