A butterfly tag

Hello everyone,

for today I have made a quick butterfly tag with a video. I have used all AALL & Create stamps and stencils. If you'd like more information about the products please visit HERE.

This is what I used, a tag cut from Mixed Media paper.. 2 stencils and 3 stamps sets. 

I brayered the paint on and then took the top layer off through the number stencil.. 

I also added some texture with another stencil and model paste. 

This is what it looked like, I then added stamping in pink and black and glued on the butterflies that I stamped and cut out. 

Lastly I added the sticker and doodled around the words.

and welcome to this blogpost for AALL & Create,  where today I have an art journal page to share.

I had so much fun making this because I love art journaling ..

Here's how I made it... 

I worked in my Moleskine watercolour journal. 

I decided to use acrylic paints because they are my favourite medium to use. 

When it was done I thought it was too bright so I toned it own with white. Next stamping... I used one of the fantastic A4 (!!) stamps. These are very versatile because you can use just bits of them which is exactly what it did. I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp.

Cool ! 

Next I used a stencil with modelling paste. 

I really love these little girls by Fiona so I had to use them again. I stamped them on gessoed book paper thinking I would leave them uncoloured.... 

Cute ! 

But then, I decided to colour them with my watercolour markers. 

When I was done colouring I added some black stamping with one of the sentiments and also some writing. I put the girls on washi tape and also added some balloons.. because balloons are happy, right?

I also had to do some splattering... lol

Spend your life ...

and welcome to my blogpost for VivaLasVegaStamps! Today I have made an art journal page with some of the latest new stamps.

I used one of my gelli printed papers. I do have a stash for easy crafting ! lol I did see it was getting a little low so I will probably have to have a printing session soon. 

I didn't really do anything to this background because I thought is was nice as it was. 

I used some of the images of the new plate 1501 for this spread. List of stamps used is at the bottom of this post. I stamped the girl, coloured her with Copic Markers and cut her out. 

The whale was stamped on tissue paper and adhered to the page. This just seemed to work better here. I added some colour with Big Brush Pitt Pens. 

I did the same for this narwhal.  

After doing all this I stamped the sentiment, cut it into strips and adhered to the page too. Lastly I drew a line around the edges. 

I used the following stamps :

Dare to dream, a shadowbox for PaperArtsy

Last Friday I was featured on the PaperArtsy blog with a shadowbox.

The topic (#10) was Paperdolls and as soon as I saw this I had this vision of a paper doll sitting on a flower. So here goes :

This box was in my stash for years. It is a wooden box with a glass window from Ikea. I have no idea why i bought it. lol I started with taking off the back and obscuring the glass which was not removable. I got round that by putting a piece of paper inside the box and a piece of grey board on the outside. 

I made a paper insert for my box because it was easier to use the stencil and model paste like this. When I was finished with it, it just slid into the box. 

I also stencilled on the outside. 

I gelli printed some paper to stamp my flowers on. I used an Ikea coaster and some bottle tops to add texture into the paint. 

After stamping, I cut them all out. I did stamp more in the end... 

I used Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic mixed with glazing fluid to add interest around the stencilling. 

To get rid of the ugly edge at the front (which was the back) I glued sari ribbon along it. 

And this is the finished project ! 

Love how it came out, loved making it....

welcome to my blogpost for UmWow Studio. I totally love the Tiny Houses Mash chipboards and couldn't resist using them again... I made three ATC's on Yupo Paper and made the background with alcohol inks.

I have left the chipboard in its natural form as I like how this looked. 

After the alcohol background had dried I applied some gold foiling. I saw Vicki Papaioannou do this on YouTube but I didn't have as many sticky areas on the ATC's... It was also alsmost impossible to photograph.. but what you do is apply foil to areas that have lots of ink. These areas stay very sticky and are a good base for foiling..

I also added one stamp to ground the houses on and some gold coloured washitape. 

You can just see the gold foil in the top left corner...

and welcome to my weekly post for Katzelkraft.

I have made a spread in my mini journal (9 x 14 cm) today and this is it :

I used a piece of gelli printed paper, which I cut in half and glued in my journal, as the background. I added some stamping and then the animals, plant and pouffe. All images were coloured with Copic Markers, cut out and adhered to the page. I added some shading with a watercolour pencil and that was that !
