Think happy

Help everyone,

I have another postcard with the lovely AALL & Create stamps today.. I can't stop !
I have used Brinley by Fiona Paltridge and also her background stamp set #3.

I used a brayer, acrylic paints and a piece of white card stock to create the background. I then added stamping and doodling.

Little Brinley was stamped on the card and also on white card stock. I couloured her with Copics and cut her out. Doing it this way is very easy because you can cut off all the little scribbles. If you then glue the coloured one onto the one on the card it is complete again and looks pretty much perfect.

I decided to stamp this sentiment several times...

A close up of Brinley...

I have used sets #3, #89 and #92.

Good boy

Hello everyone,

and welcome to my post for AALL & Create for this week. I have made a postcard this time...

After finger painting the background I thought is was way too bright, so I toned it down with white paint... I added the black around the edges and the splatters and then stamped the background.
Next I stamped the dog and coloured him, cut him out and adhered him to the card. Isn't he fun ?

I used the following stamps :

#3 by Fiona Paltridge
#89 Gwendolen by Fiona Paltridge
#101 Furry Friends 2 by Olga Heldwein

Unsupervised !

Hello everyone,

and welcome to my second post for Country View Challenges this month. I hope you will play along with us. There is a £20 voucher for the shop to win ! Please make sure to read the RULES though!

I have made an art journal page for Monika's 'be humorous' theme and I hope it will make you chuckle !

I have used all PaperArtsy materials for this apart from the sentiment; I picked that up at the Dutch Art Specially meeting in April and it is by Lost Coast Designs/Carmen's Veranda.

I have filmed the process of making this and I hope you'll pop over and have a look. It would be even more fantastic if you could subscribe to my channel ! Thank you !

Happy looks good on you

 Hi everyone,

I have made this postcard with a gelli printed background and stamps from AALL & Create. This cat is fabulous, you get her without a face and then there are three different eyes, mouths and noses to add to it.

I did some white embossing too !

I used Copics to colour the cat.

I have used sets #3 and #17 for this postcard. I also used #92 for the sentiment.

So, on a gelli printed paper I added some stamping using set #3 by Fiona Paltridge. I then stamped the cat, by Olga Heldwein,  where I wanted him and stamped him separately on white card stock. I coloured him, cut him out and then adhered him to the one on the gelli print. I did have to add the whiskers outside his face with a pen. I then stamped the sentiment, cut it into pieces and adhered it onto the card. Lastly I added some shading with a coloured pencil.

Carpe Diem

Hello everyone,

For today's Katzelkraft inspiration I have made a postcard. I love making postcards because they are small an not intimidating and with the new animal images it is great fun to create a little scene !

This card is made with a gel printed background which I stamped lightly. I added some washi tape for the table to stand on.
Next I stamped the table, the animals and the clock and coloured everything with Copic Markers. Next I cut them out and decided where I wanted them. I glued them down and arranged the words around them. Lastly I added the clock and drew a string to the 'D' of diem.

I used the following stamps:

Beautiful reasons to be happy !

Hello everyone,

I am very excited to tell you that I was asked to join the AALL & Create DT Team and I have accepted ! I love their stamps and stencils and can't wait to create more with them.
For my first DT project I have made an Art Journal page :

These little scribbled peeps are great I think. I have used 'Gwendolen' here. She was designed by Fiona Paltridge for AALL & Create. In fact every single stamp on this page was designed by her. She is very talented. I also used 'Asher' but only for the balloon and the sentiment. The banner on the left is actually 'Gwendolen's' pointy hat...

The whole page was created on a gel printed background for which I used my favourite Amsterdam Acrylics.
The images were coloured with Copic Markers.

I made the background with my gel press plate. At this point I was not sure which stamps I was going to use...

Gel printed paper ready and stamps selected !

Stamping the background...

Getting ready to colour the images..

She's so cute !

I hope you enjoyed my blogpost !

I have used the following stamps:

#89 Gwendolen
#91 Asher
