This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone!

Happy Thursday and happy Halloween. For today's Vera Lane Studio project I have made another Memory Dex card. I have used Emily Anne's Halloween for this one.

I die cut the Memory dex card out of an already coloured piece of card. I just added white paint though a stencil and some stamping. I printed Emily Anne and the sentiment, moon and cloud and coloured them with Copic Markers and a tiny bit of coloured pencil. I added splatters and a piece of washi tape to stand her on; I then glued everything down.

You'll find Emily Anne's Halloween HERE.

Something completely different

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a round card I made with a stamp from the recently released Circus Collection by Janet Klein. I really love this collection, I think it is my all time favourite by Janet. Anyway, here it is:

Here is how:

I cut out a card with Die #38. I used watercolour paper.
Later I used the bigger circle to cut out a black mat.

I stamped Clown Dee #1207 and coloured her with Copic Markers. I then cut her out.

I coloured the background by smearing Distress Oxide Ink pads over the paper and then spreading the colour with a watercolour brush and water. I then used the same inks to add stars with stencil #126. I used Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint.

After I toned it down with white paint and a brayer, I added splatters with a white paint pen and some stamping. I used the same Distress Inks and a Versafine Clair in black.

I couldn't resist to add some Rub-ons. I used sets #12 and #8.

After I added some pieces of washitape #23, I decided the background was ready for Dee.

and there she is! She is so cool! I added a sentiment from the same stamp set #1207.

I have used:

Die #38 - Counting Circles

Stencil #126 - Lotza Starz by Autour De Mwa

Rub-ons:
#12 - Coffee Numberistic by Autour De Mwa & Co
#8 - Enchanting Larking by Autour De Mwa & Co

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hi everyone,

Happy Thursday! For today's Vera Lane Studio project I have made a journal page. It measures 6 x 6 inches and features the newly release set 'Good witch, bad witch'.

I gelli printed the background with acrylic paints and a stencil. When this was done I added white paint to tone it down and also some stamping. The good witch was printed, coloured and cut out. I also used some of Janet's ephemera by AALL & Create and a die.
The image was coloured with Copic Markers.

31

 Hello everyone,

For this week's AALL & Create project I have made one more Halloween project. I have had enough now! Lol, it isn't even celebrated in Holland!

Here's how I made it:

I couldn't work as I always work with these stamps because the Frightful Manor is impossible to cut out. So are the trees. That's why I started with stamping a scene on watercolour paper using stamps #1237 and #1232. I used Versafine ink because I wanted to use watercolours.

Next I cut out '31' from die set #38 because Halloween is on the 31st of October.

I watercoloured the scene and the numbers, this took me quite a long time.

Next I added some stencilling with stencil #59 and some coloured pencil here and there to add some accents and shading.

I also added stamping using stamp sets #1162 and #1110 and inks that matched the background.

Next: rub-ons from set #12.

I also added some washi tape #21 and some doodling along the edges.  I glued the number on and added some white highlights here and there. Lastly I splattered some acrylic paint on it using Posca pens in white and purple. I added a black mat.

I have used:
Die #38 - Counting Circles
Rub-ons #12 - Coffee Numberistic by Autour De Mwa & Co
Washi tape #21- Beach Rock by Janet Klein
Stencil # 59 - Weathered Tiles by Autour De Mwa
Stamps:
#1232 - Gang Avenue by Autour De Mwa & Co
#1110 - Time Heals All by Autour De Mwa & Co
#1237 - Frightful Manor by Autour De Mwa & Co
#1162 - Cirque by Autour De Mwa & Co

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hi everyone,

For today's Vera Lane Studio post I have made another memory dex card. I have used the newly released set 'Gourdgous' which apparently is a pumpkin!

I used a piece of AALL & Create design paper for this. I cut it out with a memory dex die also by AALL & Create. The image was printed, coloured and cut out. I used Copics for colouring. To the card I added some rub-ons and some stencilling and stamping.
I used a small piece of washi tape to ground the pumpkin.

You'll find this set called 'Gourdgous' HERE

A new era of imagination

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a card I made for AALL & Create. I used some of Bipasha's new Steampunk Collection for this. I really like the vintage vibe.

Here's how I made it:

I started off with a piece of the Bipasha's Design Paper (#11). I didn't cut it down because I didn't want to lose the dark areas along the sides.

I added some stamping with parts of stamps #1225 - #443 and #568.

Next I added some Rub-ons from sets #5 and #12.

I love this Ephemera #65 and glued some of that on too. It is getting busy !!!!

I stamped the phone with the flower from set #1225 to colour and cut out. This is my focal point.

I then put down some washi tape here and there. and some brown splatters. I also put some staples through the Ephemera.

And here is the finished project. I like all the browns and greys because besides bright colours I also love Vintage. I should do it more often!

I have used the following materials:

Design Paper #11 - Rusty Rhythms by Bipasha Bk
Ephemera #65 - Halo Haze by Bipasha Bk
Washi tape #39 - Scriptual by Bipasha Bk
Rub-ons:
#5 - Acid Blends by Autour De Mwa & Co
#12 - Coffee Numberistic by Autour De Mwa & Co
Stamps:
#443 - Scripted Circles by Bipasha Bk
#568 - ABCs by Bipasha Bk
#1162 - Cirque by Autour De Mwa & Co
#1225 - Lens & Lines by Bipasha Bk

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday!

For this week's Vera Lane Studio project I have made a 6 x 6 journal page. I have used 'Halloween Moon' which came out this week.

I printed the images then coloured them with Copic Markers. I cut them out and then die cut the houses at the back out of pattern paper. This is a die by AALL & Create called 'Building Sihouettes" #58. I cut off the bottom because I wanted them lower. I added some stamping and I 'turned on the lights' by gluing yellow paper behind the windows and also by just colouring some of them through the holes. The paper at the bottom is also pattern paper from my stash and was also randomly stamped and inked around the edges. The houses and the ground were then glued on yet another piece of pattern paper which is dark blue to represent the night sky. I did ink the edges with black Distress Oxide ink.  When I was happy with the background I added the images and the sentiment.

You'll find Halloween Moon HERE or HERE

Zombies eat brains...

 Hello everyone,

For today's AALL & Create project I have made another memory dex card. They are great for small projects.

Here's how I made it:

I cut the memory dex card out of a gelli print that I made with this stencil (#77).

I used die #49 for this.

I added some pieces of this set of Rub-ons #12. Just here and there because I didn't want to obscure the stencil shape too much.

I also added a little bit of stamping.

I found the green bottle in this ephemera pack and then got an uncoloured one to make it go with my scene. In this case I coloured it orange.

I stamped Frankie (Frank n Bride #1200), then coloured him and cut him out.

Added a few pieces of washi tape (#61)

Here it is all put together. I added one of the sentiments of Ephemera Pack Laughing Lines (#47).

I have used the following materials:

Stamps:
#1156 - Numero Uno by Autour De Mwa & Co
#1200 - Frank n Bride by Janet Klein
#494 - X or O by Janet Klein

Ephemera:
#64 - Tricksters Elixirs by Janet Klein
#47 - Laugh Lines by Autour De Mwa & Co

Die:
#49 - Spring Sprouts

Rub-ons:
#12 - Coffee Numberistic by Autour De Mwa & Co

Stencil:
#77 - Sunflower Power by Olga Heldwein

Washi Tape:
#61 - Harvest Time by Janet Klein
