This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

For this weeks Vera Lane Studio project I have made a postcard with the newly released set "Chosen sister".

I printed and coloured the girl and the sentiment, then cut them out. The background was made with Distress Oxide Spray in Picked raspberry. I just dripped some on the card and spritzed some water on it. I then added the hearts with a stencil and Picked Raspberry Oxide ink and a blendingtool. I did some random stamping, again with Distress Oxide, this time Vintage Photo and used the same ink to blend around the edges. The circles were stamped with a home made stamp.
I then added some washitape and placed the girl on it, glued down the sentiment and that finished the card.

You'll find "Chosen sister" HERE

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

I have made a journal spread for this week's Vera Lane Studio project.

This came together quite quickly. I used an AALL & Create stencil to create the background by rubbing Distress Oxide Ink over the stencil, spritzing with water and then printing it on the pages. I added some stamping with Janet's stamps by AALL & Create and also some washi tape.
Einstein was printed and coloured and then cut out together with the bottles and the sentiment. I placed everything on the page, added some doodle lines and that was it !

You'll find Einstein HERE

This week at Vera Lane Studio

 Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday and welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a postcard that I made for Vera Lane Studio.

I printed and coloured the images and then found tis background in my stash. It is a mop up page from the gelli plate. These days I try and make prints just like this on purpose ! I like them that much. Anyway, I added stamping using some of Janet's stamps by AALL & Create and then put down some washi tape also by Janet. I placed the images and the sentiment where I wanted them to go and that was that !

You'll find this set called 'I like you' with Winnie & Piglet HERE

Thank you for stopping by!

Happy birthday

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a birthday card which I made for the March challenge over at Country View Challenges

This month I am hosting the challenge and because it is my birthday in March I chose the theme 'birthday card' with the added demand that it has to be a birthday card for a man. Yes, I know, we all struggle with that. For my first project I have used only pattern paper and one stamp.

Here's how I made this quick and easy card:

This is the paper I chose to make my card. It's by Stamperia. Susan at Country View Crafts has a very good selection of Stamperia products.

First I used this ink pad to colour the edges of my white card blank. It fits better with the colours I am using.

I cut out a panel, a piece of paper for the sentiment and a triangle that I thought would look great as a party hat. The man is an ephemera sticker, also from the same collection.

I found these circles also in the ephemera pack and decided to put them onto the panel.

Next I used this stamp set by AALL & Create for the sentiment.

Here is the panel all ready to go on the card.

And here it is all finished. I think it looks great.

Please come over to Country View Challenges and play along with us. Just make sure to read the RULES before you do. I will be back in a couple of days with another masculine card. I might even do a video!

Thank you for stopping by today.
