A mini album for AALL & Create

 Hello everyone,

For today's Guest DT project for AALL & Create I have made a little album with three tags in it. I used lots of different stamps and part of stamps. I wanted to show that you don't need to use the whole images to make a nice project.

Here's how I made it:

I cut the tags out of card stock 220 gsm. I didn't want it to thick. The large one was cut by hand, I used a die for the small ones.  I used the Diamond stencil and acrylic paint to gelli print all the pieces.

Next I toned it all down again with a brayer and white paint and stamped the backgrounds.

I added some washi tape here and there, just little slivers and some black acrylic paint along the edges.

I stamped the words and letters I wanted to use.

I also stamped the focal images. I planned on only using part of the stamps.

Here you see them all coloured and cut out. For the pumpkin I wiped the ink off the stamp where the little pumpkin is and then used a fine liner to complete the drawing.

The tags all put together.

This is going to be the little album. It is just another tag that I folded in two places. On the inside middle at the bottom is a strip of paper to hold in the tags.  I added the word VEG and the hand which will point into the direction of the opening.

Here it is all put together. I added a ribbon to keep the album closed.

The back.

  1. I love this project, Corrie, and particularly the pop of black on the edges. It just makes the colour sing and dance (reminds me of a trio of dancing ladies :D ). Wonderful!

  2. Brilliant idea, Corrie. Your colors are so warm and inviting and I really like the design. I have the circle stencil similar to the diamond stencil - I need to get that one, too!
