Hello everyone,
It is a new month again so that means there is another challenge over at Country View Challenges. This time the theme is 'We will always have Paris' and it was chosen by Christine. I have made a postcard:
Here's how:
I divided a postcard sized piece of paper into three, masking off the middle.
I then used Distress Inks to colour the sides. Yes, it is the French Flag!
I added some Fleur de Lis from this stencil using the same inks.
Et voila !
Next some background stamping. I used an old stamp set I found in the depths of my craft room. Not sure who by..
I added the Eiffel Tower, of course, it is Paris after all. I inked the edges with black ink.
Lastly I added a French postage stamp and the word Paris.
We hope you will play along with us, just read the rules before you do. You could win a £20 voucher !
I will be back soon with more inspiration!
Thank you for stopping by !
Perfectly themed postcard! Amazing how we all have old supplies with a Parisian/French theme!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend Corrie1 xx
ReplyDeleteGreat postcard Corrie, I love the subtle effect of the the stencil which adds a touch of vintage and gives the card cohesion and the tower really pops. Hugs Debs xx
