and welcome to my blog where today I am sharing an AJ spread made with AALL & Create stamps and stencils.
and here's how:
I painted the pages with a creme coloured acrylic paint and then brayered over some green paint along the edges. When dry I did the same with Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I used the same ink with the stencil.
I then rubbed the stencil with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide, sprayed it with water and used it as a 'stamp'. I love this effect.
Next I stamped part of the #146 stamp with Worn Lipstick and the stitchlines from set #147 with black ink along the edges. I used the acrylic block to get a good impression.
These blocks are flexible so you can bend them with the curve of your book. Mine always get very wonky from all the stuff I put in them..
Next I stamped and coloured little Frida. I wanted to stamp her in the book as well and then cut off the legs and arms of this one so I could use her without a white border. Unfortunately I mis stamped and had to cut her out with the white border to hide my mistake...
I added some black stamping and the sentiment and some washi tape.
I have used the following AALL & Create products:
Border Acrylic Block
Stamp set #146 - Kings and Queens
Stamp set #147 - Zipp it
Stamp set #184 - Little Frida
Stencil #59 - Weathered Tiles
