Every single day ...

Hello everyone,

As you probably know, if you read my posts regularly, I love making art journals and today is no exception. For my DT post for Roc Nicholas I made another one !

I used a piece of Mixed Media paper for this and started with a stencil and modeling paste. After that had dried (I used a heat gun as I have no patience) I sprayed the orange ink, by Lindy's Stampgang, in the middle of the page. As an afterthought I decided to add some gesso so I used a brush and painted the gesso at the bottom and the top of the page, slightly overlapping the orange. I then sprayed the pink Lindy's inkspray into the, still wet, gesso. I really like the weathered effect that gave and I will use this trick again. When all this was dry I stamped the background with the heart vine stamp and coloured the stems with a white paint pen and the hearts with coloured pencils.  Next I stamped the border on the right. I used music paper that was lightly gessoed, stamped the 'stacked boxes' and cut them out; I stamped this three times to fill the whole side of the page. I used a coloured pencil to give the edges a tiny bit of colour and then adhered it to the page.
I then stamped the 'flying hearts' 3 times and the 'screaming bunny' once on white card stock, coloured everything with Copic Markers, cut it all out (cutting off the wings of the hearts) and arranged it on the page. Lastly I typed the sentiment and adhered that too...

I used the following stamps, all available at Stampotique Originals HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate your time and comments...
