This week at Vera Lane Studio

and welcome to my inspiration post for Vera Lane Studio. For today's post I have made two postcards. I still love making postcards because they are nice and small. For the first I have used this weeks new released Harry Potter and for the second an older set called Little Gangstas.

I have used designer paper for both cards as I have stacks of it and it never gets used. One of my new Year's resolutions ! lol

I added a snarky sticker to this card and some inking around the edges and splatters. Both images were coloured with Copic Markers.

I was lucky to be allowed to stay on the fab DT of VivaLasVegaStamps! again and for my first post of 2019 I have been playing in my small art journal. This AJ spread was not without it's problems but I left all that in so you can see how I fixed my mistake..

Always be Batman!

and welcome to my first Katzelkraft post of 2019 ! Happy New Year !

For this post I have made a mini art journal spread.

Ever since I had this sentiment I thought about how I could use it and when I looked at the Les Pabos set "Sherlock Holmes" I saw this little guy that was wearing a cape ! So I stamped him and masked off the lines on his body. I then drew the Batman Hat, the bat on his chest and added some folds to his cape, et voila ! lol I coloured him with Copic Markers and I think he came out super cute ! 

For the background I added Distress Oxide inks over gessoed pages and splattered some water over them. I then added some stamping,  stencilling and  doodling. I then added Batman and the sentiment.

All heart

Hello everyone,

and Happy Thursday to you !

I would like to start by wishing you a happy new year ! For the first Vera Lane Studio inspiration piece I have made an art journal page with the new set called 'All heart'. I have used one of my all time favourite colour combinations : pink and orange !

I made the background first by heat embossing the lace which is a stamp with white embossing powder; I then added pink and orange Distress Oxide inks and some stamping. I love how it turned out. Next I resized and printed this fab girl and coloured her as always with my Copic Markers. I then cut her out and adhered her onto the page on top of some washi tape. I also added the sentiment from the same set.

I also made a postcard with one of the Holiday Monsters; just to prove that a monster is not just for Christmas ! lol 

She was coloured with Copics and I added some white details here and there. I also replaced her legs with the ones that Janet supplied later. She was placed on washi tape on a gel print that I had in my stash. It was made with a stencil and Copic Refills. I made sure you can read the word Cute.

For my last post for Katzelkraft this year, I have made a New Year Card. With this card I'd like to say Happy New Year to you and thank you for all your support over the last year.

I started with printing the lyrics of Abba's Happy New Year onto a piece of pattern paper and then stamped Happy New Year. 

Next I stamped this little fellow, who is my favourite by the way, and the clock and coloured both with Copic Markers. I cut him and his clock out and adhered them onto the card panel. I also inked the edges slightly with Distress Ink in the colour Pumice Stone.
