and welcome to my blog where today I have a project to share for the new Challenge over at Country View Challenges. The theme for this month is "Flower Power" and was chosen by Monika.
I made a mini art journal page :
and here's how I made it :
I used a gelli print from my stash and stamped one of the flowers of the PaperArtsy EKD06 stamp set repeatedly onto it with VersaMark ink.
Next I heat embossed the flowers with white embossing powder.
I then cut them out. I also stamped one of the women from the Dina Wakley set "from the Past" and cut her out.
Next I made a background with water colour paper and Distress Oxide Inks.
This is what is looks like when I put it all together; I used a sentiment from the same Dina Wakley set and matted the whole thing on black card stock. I also used a black pen to doodle around the edges of the card.
I hope you will play along with us this month ! You can win a 20GBP voucher ! Just make sure to read the rules HERE.
Thank you for stopping by today !
