Journal 52 - week 4 - building character

Hello fellow Crafters,

This week the prompt for Journal 52 is 'Building Character'. The idea is to create a character with paint, collage or words. However you want. I decided to try and paint one. Boy, this is way, way out of my comfort zone but I suppose that is what it is all about. So here goes my first attempt at painting a face:

I painted the face with acrylic paint. After I finished I painted the left side of the page blue, also with acrylic paint. I did some background stamping with grey and blue inks and wrote the sentiment. I usually use stamps of sticky letters but today I thought I write it. Lastly I tore the definition of 'character' out of a dictionary and glued it on the page.
