Home sweet home

Hello fellow Crafters,

Over at the Tag Along Challenge Blog the theme is home sweet home. This is what I made :

Instead of painting a Manilla tag, I cut a tag out of pattern paper. This particular one has text on it and was white to start with. I used a pale blue Pan Pastel to give it a bit or colour and then used Distress Inks to darker the edges. I stamped Stampotique's Home Sweet Home stamp on red and white pattern paper and paper pieced it. I coloured with windows with alcohol markers. Toto the dog, also from Stampotique was stamped on white paper and coloured with different shades of grey. Lastly I punched a little heart out of the same red paper. After putting some washi tape on, I glued everything on the tag, dripped some white ink paint on it and added a flower and some ribbon. That was it !
