Over at the Tag Along Challenge blog the theme this week is Snow and Ice and was chosen by the lovely Carol. This is what I made :
This is a #8 Manilla Tag which I painted with white acrylic paint. I then glued some bits of tissue paper on it, which have script on it. I went over it with white paint again in certain spots. I did some background stamping with grey and blue Archival inks and also took the blue ink pad and dragged it along the edges of the tag. I used India ink to make the rings and the splatters. I then stamped the snow star from Tim Holtz twice, coloured it and embossed it, first with sparkly powder then with clear. Shame the effect doesn't show on the picture. The little figure is from the Octopode Factory and I coloured her in blue and grey shades and clear embossed her. I also gave her a little crown which I cut from black card stock and embossed with the same sparkly embossing powder. The letters are from Tim Holtz. I finished the tag off with a bit of blue ribbon and some white which was kindly given to me by Jackie Payne.
Thanks for stopping by !
Hope you like it….
