Be original, fearless and awesome

Hello everyone,

and happy Sunday ! I have another project for you today ! I have used the Hippo from the Big Game set by Vera Lane Studio because Janet (the owner and very talented designer of these lovely images) suggested he should be walking a tightrope ! lol So that is what I made him do. I have also filmed the process from start to finish. There is a little piece of footage missing where my battery died... but you won't miss much !

Here is the YouTube link:

I hope you enjoy watching !

This is the set I used :

You'll find it HERE.

Just live a little

Hello everyone,

and happy Sunday ! Today I have something completely different for you. I know we have the Wonderland themed ATC swap but I thought I'd share these guys with you first ! They are so very adorable....

This set consists of an elephant, a hippo, an umbrella and a party hat. You also get the sentiment. I think they are fabulous and of course you don't have to stack them like I did..... you can use them separately and they are just as cute !
Anyway I put them all together in my computer; I use a program that is similar to Powerpoint but I have been told this works just as well in Word. I coloured them next using Copic Markers and cut them out. I then looked for a nice gelli print in my stash and used some pattern paper as a base for them to stand on. You could use washi tape or something too. I glued them down and then cut the sentiment into strips and adhered them too. Lastly I went around the page and the words with a black marker. That was it !

If you are interested in these guys you'll find them HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

How long is forever...

Hello everyone,

and Happy Wednesday !

As you may know I am hosting the ATC swap over at Vera Lane Studio this month and I wanted to share what I made for this:

I thought it would only be fair that I made two ATC's as I am the organizer.... lol and they were really easy. All I did was colour and cut out the images and adhere them on a piece of pattern paper (rabbit) and a gelli printed card (Alice) both from my stash.

I also made a card to send with the ATC's :

This was an easy one as I used a ready made gelli print from my stash !
I printed and coloured the Tweeds, cut them out and adhered them onto the panel. I added the sentiment and some doodling and was really it !

You'll find Alice and Rabbit HERE.

If you are interested in the Tweeds, you can find them HERE.

If you never try

Hello everyone,

Today I have a card to share. I made this with Katzelkraft stamps. I have had this flower set in my stash for ages but hadn't done anything with it.
So I thought I'd use it today.

I used a piece of watercolour for this card and started with repeatedly stamping one of the flowers with VersaMark and heat embossed them with WOW white embossing powder.
I then coloured the card panel with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush. The sentiment was stamped on a piece of vellum and wrapped around the panel. I matted the panel on a piece of black card stock and the whole thing on a white card.

I used the following stamps:

Stop thinking, just create art

Hello everyone,

Today I have a card to share. I made this for Hobbycompleet De Duif with the new Dina Wakley goodies I got sent.

This card was really simple to make. I started with a piece of white card stock and stamped one of the text stamps from Dina repeatedly on the card with Distress Oxides Worn Lipstick, Spiced marmelade and Twisted Citron. I then sprayed it with water so the ink began to run. I made sure not to add too much water as I was working on normal card stock. Next I stamped part of the girl stamp and heat embossed her with clear WOW Embossing powder. I then stamped the words on white paper, cut them out, inked the edges with the same inks and adhered to the panel. Lastly I drew some squiggly lines around the panel and adhered it to a card.

Thank was it ! Thanks for stopping by today !

Take chances..

Hello everyone,

It is the 1st of November and that means it is my turn to show you a project with the lovely rubber stamps by Roc Nicholas. They are sold via Stampotique.com.

I started out with stamping the images and then colouring them with Copic Markers. I then cut them out and put the dog in the cup. Next I tried to find a background and spent ages as all my painted backgrounds were way too busy. So I settled for a piece of design paper. I did add some paint along the edges and also some doodling. I arranged the images on the paper and added a Tim Holtz Small Talk sticker.

I have used the following stamps:
