Choose to shine

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog where today I have another post for AALL & Create. I have made a card with Bipasha's newest designs. I tried to do something different today but I don't know if I did them justice. I sort of like how it turned out though.

Here's how I made it:

I stamped the flower stamp once at the bottom and once partly in the top left corner.

I then added some washi tape to add more interest.

I added some stencilling too, using graphite paste. It has a very subtle glitter in it.

Next I added white paint here and there using my fingers to tone down the black washi tape, I then stamped over the top of that and in a few other places.

I used watercolour markers to colour the flowers.

Lastly I used this stamp set to make a sentiment for the card.

and there is it.. oh, almost forgot, I did add some white and pink paint splatters.

I have used the following AALL & Create products:

Stencil #147 - Coffee Stains by Bipasha Bk
Washi #24 - Power Words by Bipasha Bk
Stamps:
#746 - Dreams that blossom by Bipasha Bk
#747 - Positive Thoughts by Bipasha Bk

Happy Mother's day

  Hello everyone,

For the second inspiration piece for Country View Challenges "Mother's Day" challenge I have made a card.

Here's how:

I cut out some flowers, leaves and a background from this paperback by Stamperia.

I cut into the flowers, bending the petals here and there.

I then layered them using some dimensional tape.

With a Stamperia stencil I added some graphite texture paste.

I then sprinkled some Infusions over the top and spritzed with water. I used "Lemoncello".

Next I used a Stamperia background stamp with black Archival ink.

Next I inked the edges of the card and the edged of the flower. I also glued the leaves under the flower.

I glued the flower onto the card and added the sentiment. I went around the sentiment with a soft graphite pencil and a blender. I then glued the card onto a blank card.

I hope to see you again next month for a new challenge !

Thank you for stopping by today !

Normal is an illusion

Hello everyone,

I was asked by Abs to make some samples with the new release stamps for the AALL & Create Hochanda shows ! Of course I couldn't say no to that !

This is an art journal page. Of course you can make this in a journal....

and here's how:

I used a brayer and a piece of Mixed media paper to get some colour on the paper, green and yellow acrylic paint in this case. I then stencilled the tree rings on it using blue acrylic paint.

Next I did some background stamping, brayered white paint over it and added the silhouette stencil to my paper. I used Graphite paste for that. It has tiny little bits of glitter in it.

Next I used modelling paste for the sentiment that is on this stencil.

I stamped another sentiment and a pointing finger to add... but was not happy with the model paste words...

... so I decided to use a pink paint pen and colour them. I added the other sentiment on the top and added some doodling along some of the edges.

I have used the following AALL & Create materials:

Stamp #161  Ladybug
Stamp set #125 For the record
Stencil #63 Wood pile
Stencil #75 Illusion
