Dreamer

Hello everyone,

It is Friday and that means another post for Katzelkraft ! I still love all the critter stamps and I decided to make this project with one of the cats; it is a card this time :

The background was made with acrylic paints and a gelli plate ! I added some stamping. The cat was stamped on watercolour paper with Archival ink and painted with watercolours. I added a little shading with coloured pencils too. I cut him out and placed him on some music paper.  Lastly I added a stitched line along the edges and a sentiment.

I used the following stamps:

See possibility everywhere

Hello everyone,

It is Friday and that means another post for Katzelkraft ! I still love all the critter stamps and I decided to make this project with one of the cats; it is an art journal page:

The background was made with acrylic paints and my fingers ! Nothing so precise as your fingers ! Next I added some stamping. The birds were stamped directly onto the background with Archival ink; I did have to fill them in with a black pen because they didn't come out solid. The cat was stamped on watercolour paper with Archival ink and painted with watercolours. I added a little shading with coloured pencils too. Lastly I added a doodle line along the edges and a 'small talk' sticker by Tim Holtz.

I used the following stamps:

If I only had the nerve!

Hello everone,

and welcome to Stampotique Wednesday! Today is Jackie's turn to choose the theme for the weekly Challenge and she decided on : Animals. This is what she said :

''We all love our animals......incorporate an animal in your project..."

So that is what I did and made a postcard..

I love the Wizard of Oz images which are designed by Janet Klein.. So I decided, as he is an animal, to use him today.
The card was painted with my fingers and Dylusions paints. Next I put some model paste through a stencil. I stamped the background and decided it needed some splatters. I used white an black ink for this. Next I stamped the Lion. He was coloured with watercolour pencils and a water brush and cut out. I added some washitape and stamped the swirl in the left bottom corner as I thought it needed something more. I coloured the swirl with Big Brush Markers.
Then it was time to put the Lion on the card. I doodled a little line around the card and made the sentiment with my typewriter.

I used the following stamps:

Different...

Hello everyone,

For my DT post for Katzelkraft today I made another Art Journal. I love art journaling; I discovered it after I was finished making birthday cards for the year 2012 and was looking for other ways to use my supplies ! The rest is history as they say...

I started with Mixed Media paper on which I put some model paste through a stencil. I then brushed the page with clear gesso. Next I used Lindys Stampgang sprays. I sprayed the page with 'Pop Rock Purple' and then dripped some of the same over the top as well as a white spray called ' Frozen Jack Frost'. The grey at the top and the bottom was done with 'Magicals', also from Lindys; these are basically Mica Powders. I use a wet brush to pick them up from the pot and brush it onto the edge of the paper and then spray it with water so it runs down. The shimmer is awesome !
Next I stamped the background with a script stamp from the set with the rabbit and then stamped the rabbit, coloured him with watercolour pencils and a water brush and cut him out with an oval die. I also cut some pattern paper with a bigger die to layer under the rabbit. I adhered both the ovals to the page and then lastly doodled around the page and stamped the sentiment.

I used the following stamp sets:

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

Life is good !

Hello everyone,

This is the first of two posts from me today. I have made a tag for Sir Tim's 12 tags of 2015. Of course I didn't have many of the supplies Tim used but I improvised.

I cut a tag from Kraft card stock and inked the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Next I cut a piece of watercolour paper and stamped the flower onto it. This stamp is by Stampotique as I don't have any flower stamps from Tim. I also don't have any of the dies Tim used so I improvised and used a different one. The flower was coloured with watercolour pencils and a water brush. The tag was stitched together and I finished it off with some rub ons, some metal flowers and a bit of lace ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by today !
