Stop thinking, just create

Hello everyone,

and welcome to my blogpost where today I am sharing a card that I made with Dina Wakley's new goodies for Hobbycompleet De Duif.

I started with a panel of watercolour paper and used the method where you smoosh Distress Oxide ink on the craft mat, spritz with water and dunk your card in it. Repeat as many times as you want. I used Twisted Citron and Broken China.
next I stamped the background using Distress Oxides for the circles and Versamark for the script and little blocks. I then heat embossed the script with white WOW embossing powder and the block with clear WOW embossing powder.
I distressed the edges of the panel and then stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum with black Archival Ink. This was then also heat embossed with clear powder and stapled in place.
The panel was then adhered to a card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

Jazz it up

Hello everyone,

and happy Tuesday ! It is time to share another project for Visible Image today and I have made a card.

I love how bright this looks... I started with a piece of Bristol Card Stock and stamped the flower shape repeatedly with VersaMark Ink. I then heat embossed them all with white WOW embossing powder. I recently bought the Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and used them for this card. Aren't those colours yummy ? Anyway I used 2 shades of pink, a yellow and two shades of orange to colour the shapes. I also used a pale blue marker to add some shadows around the flowers.
I did used a water brush to blend all the colours together.
The sentiment was stamped on vellum and wrapped around the card panel which was then glued onto a piece of black card stock. The whole thing was then adhered onto a white card.

I used two stamp sets for this:

May all your dreams come true ..

Hello everyone,

Today I have made a card for my DT post for Lost Coast Designs. I did use a sentiment from a different company but I have no idea whose it is as it was given to me as a present.
Anyway here's my card:

I started with a piece of white card stock and put some model paste on it through a stencil. Next I gave it a coat of gesso and when everything was dry I used some Lindys Magicals to get some colour on it. I used 'Pretty in Pink Pink', 'Gag me with a spoon gray' and 'Midnight Rendezvous'. These names crack me up....

Anyway, when everything was as I wanted it and dry I stamped the background with one of the 'ATC Backgrounds' (part of) and then stamped 'Cosmos Face' with Versafine ink and clear embossed the image. Lastly I stamped the sentiment on a bit of vellum, clear embossed it and stapled it to the card front. The card front was then adhered to a white card base.
