All you need is love

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well ! For today's VivaLasVegaStamps! DT post I have made an art journal page with an experimental background !

And here's how I made it:

I got the iZink Ice translucent gel paints by Seth Apter recently and I had to try them out, which I did with above result. It then was on my desk for a while until today when I decided to use it for my VLVS! project.

I added stamping (of course)... a full list of stamps I used is at the bottom of this post.

I also added some modelling paste through a stencil and some splatters. It is a very busy background but I am planning on just using black and white for the images.

I stamped the balloon girl and the cops directly on the page. I used a black marker to correct the balloons that didn't stamp right. The cops are a not stamped very well but that is not a problem as I am going to cover the image up with one stamped on book pages. This was just to make sure I had al the details.

And here it is all finished. I added a sticker saying 'all you need is love' and matted the whole page on black card stock so it popped even more.

I have used the following stamps:

Other materials:

iZink Ice in a few different bright colours
Archival ink: Jet Black, Watering Can, Aquamarine, Leaf Green, Saffron, Magenta Hue, Deep Purple.
Stencil by AALL & Create #2
Modeling paste by Finnabair.

No place like home

Hello everyone,

For my post for Um Wow Studio today I made a mini Art Journal page.

I kept it really simple this time. I stamped the background and then heat embossed it with two layers of Seth Apther's Baked Texture "Vintage Beeswax". Next I embossed the edges of the page with "Ancient Amber". I didn't do much to the Tiny Houses chipboards, just wiped them over a brown Archival ink pad. The line of music paper and the sentiment were also heat embossed with the Vintage Beeswax powder.

A close up.

Doesn't it look yummy !

I have used the Tiny Houses Mash Chipboards and you'll find them HERE

Thank you so much for stopping by today !
