De Craftorij Zomerchallenge CZC 2016 - Day 21 - 25

Hello everyone,

I am home from my holiday in cold and windy Brighton and trying to catch up with the challenge. Today I made card #25 and that completes another 5 cards. So here they are:

Day 21 - Take a book and do something with word 7 on page 17 (glow). 

This is made with Distress Inks and a stamp by VivaLasVegaStamps! 

Day 22 - Feathers

A gelliprinted background with VivaLasVegaStamps! 

Day 23 - Chevrons

Again I used a gelliprinted background and stamps by Carabelle and VivaLasVegaStamps! 

Day 24 - Map 

I used a bit of old map of an English city,  applied some acrylic paint and two VivaLasVegaStamps! 

Day 25 - Halloween/scary 

A gelliprinted background with VivaLasVegaStamps!

When the rain begins to fall.

Hello everyone,

For the monthly ATC swap over at the Craftorij,  organised by Wini, I made these ATC's for the theme "rain".

I stamped the zebra on the ATC and on some masking paper. I then cut out the one on the masking paper and stuck it onto the one on the ATC. Next I stamped the drops over the top with Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. Still leaving the mask in place, I  took a blending tool and some Distress inks in greys and blues and coloured the background.

Next I took off the mask and coloured the zebra lightly with colour pencils. I then stamped the sentiment on a piece of separate card stock. I only used part of it. I cut it apart and coloured rainbow colours on the word 'rainbow', also using colour pencils. 

Lastly I glued the sentiment on the ATC. 

I used stamps from :

Katzelkraft, for the Zebra and the raindrops

Carabelle for the sentiment

Hopefully the recipients will like them.

Nonsense !

Hello everyone,

Well, I had a good day despite all the rain we have been having... I have been crafting and besides the postcards I also made an art journal. Fair to say I did have some images already coloured and this one was one of those.  A quick and easy page !

I used my favourite way of starting a page; paint it with gesso and then use model paste (Prima Light Modelling paste)  through a stencil (Tim Holtz). I then used three colours of Lindys Stampgang Sprays. One Flat Fabio (without sparkle) and two Starburst Sprays (with Sparkle).  I love the effect they give. Next I tore some pieces out of an old book and coloured them with the same spray. When these were dry I adhered them to the page. I used a stamp from Prima (Finnabair) to stamp the background randomly and subtly. I had Alice by Carabelle Stamps already coloured and glued her in place. The sentiment is a quote from Alice in Wonderland and was handwritten. Lastly I doodled a few lines around the page.

Adventure awaits..

I have been playing in my mini art journal today. I have used one of the new Carabelle stamps called Jack. He is so sweet.

I have yet again used my favourite sprays from Lindys Stamp Gang. I love this stuff. But first I gessoed the page and put some texture on it with a stencil and some model paste. I then used the sprays:

'Merry go round green'

'Tilt a wheel teal'

'Tibetan poppy teal'

I sprayed, dripped, dried and repeated until I was happy. Next I stamped the background with a variety of stamps and inks. I also used black archival ink to accentuate the letters I made with the model paste. I found the chipboard puzzle pieces in my stash and I embossed them with Lindys embossing powder in the colour 'Morning glory azure'. I adhered them to the page. I then stamped Jack; once on the page and once on white card stock. I coloured the one on the white card stock, clear embossed him and cut him out. I then glued him onto himself :) on the page. Lastly I stamped the sentiment which is from VivaLasVegaStamps!
