I love you like...

Hello everyone,

This post is the second inspiration piece for the Country View Challenges January challenge with the theme 'LOVE' in the widest sense! I have made a card and tried to make it a little humorous.

and here's how:

I went shopping before Christmas and was given a paper bag with one of my purchases. I liked the pink and white stripes so much that I decided to keep it and use it for my card today.

First I used a brayer and added some white paint, then I used a stencil and added some hearts with Distress Oxide Ink in Victorian Velvet.

Next I stamped the word love with grey StaZon ink (only used StaZon because it was the perfect colour) and used the ink pad to ink up the edges.

Next I stamped the main image and the sentiment on a piece of book paper and cut them out.

And here it is all put together. I added a black mat and adhered the whole thing to a white card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by today ! I hope you play along with us. You will find all the information about the current challenge when you click the link at the top of this post.

  6. Love that sentiment. My son actually wrote that in a card once and I still have it to this day. LOL Great recycling project too.
