cHello everyone,
For my DT post for Katzelkraft I had to use another one of those lovely dogs.. It is a card and this is
it :
I started with a piece of white card stock and used a brayer and some acrylic paints to create the background. I used PaperArtsy Fresco paints in the colours: Cheesecake, Yellow Submarine, Pumpkin soup, Limelight and some Snowflake. When that was done I stamped the background with a variety of Katzelkraft Stamps. There is a list of all the stamps I used at the bottom of this post.
I then picked some Designer Paper from a paper pack from BoBunny called "C'est la Vie". I stitched some of it at the right top and left bottom of the card. Next I stamped the dog and the bone and coloured both with Copic markers. I cut them out and adhered them to the card. I typed the sentiment and adhered that too. A bit of doodling & splattering with a white paint pen finished this panel off. It was then adhered to a white card.
I used the following stamps (Click to go to the shop):
Thank you so much for stopping by today !

ReplyDeleteSue Speck here, Corrie: have tried three times to reach you via your email but all have bounced back to me. I hope going through your blog will succeed. I'm working on your RSM story right now and would appreciate a little more feedback on your Ride the Waves piece. The X's and circles add a lot to your postcard. Did you draw them or stamp them? Also, why did you choose these particular elements? I know that you prefer to feel your art rather than think about it, but it would help other stampers to learn about some of your process.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your time, Corrie . . .

Thanks, Corrie - got both your emails. It's weird indeed - especially as I've emailed you there before. Very strange. I thought perhaps the lines were jammed when I tried last night, so I tried again this morning. No go. I couldn't even reply to the email you just sent me - it bounced back again! So here I am, back on your blog. Sorry to clog it up. Anyway, we're good for now and I don't think I'll need to contact you again. If I do, I now know how best to do that! Thanks so much, Corrie . . .
