A card for a challenge

Hello everyone,

For a challenge at Stampingback (dutch stamp company) I made this card. It is very CAS for me...

The theme was to make something with a wish for somebody on it. So anything like happy birthday, get well etc. As I got this stamp with the row of houses only this week I thought I'd use it. I stamped it at the bottom of a card panel and coloured one house and only shaded the rest. I used Copic Markers for this. The sentiment is from another company but I thought it fitted the house stamp very well. I matted the panel on a piece of black card stock and then adhered the whole thing to a white card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

  1. Looks great, I really like the idea of just adding colour to one of the houses, makes it really pop!
    Good luck with the challenge!

  2. A perfect card for a very special house "warming," Corrie! I am still so in awe of your coloring with your just seems to make things come alive! Applause! Applause!

  3. Love the colouring on your house - it draws the eye directly to the house and sentment.

  4. What a great idea to highlight just the one house! Lovely card, Corrie!

  8. Prachtig gedaan, leuke stempel!
    Groetjes Karin

  9. CAS - and such good CAS! Love how you've coloured just the one house and shaded the others - so effective.

  10. Fabulous, Corrie - I love the look of the new home in such contrast to the others. What fun!

  11. It might be CAS but it is a striking card!
The contrast of one coloured house set against the others left without colour, that is so clever!
I am very drawn to this card.
