The many faces of Mona

Hello everyone,

Today, for my DT post for Katzelkraft I made a set of three ATC's. It was great fun to make these and I hope you like them...

I started off by cutting 3 ATC sized pieces of paper from white card stock. The card stock I used is suitable for using with Copic Markers.
First I stamped Mona with Memento Ink as this too is suitable to use with Copic Markers; Archival and StaZon inks bleed when using alcohol markers. I used a Copic friendly marker and a stencil with small dots to draw in her cheeks. Next I made a mask and masked Mona off. I then stamped the word Art so it looks as it is behind her.
Then the real fun was starting ! The colouring. I used the same colours for all three cards, I just swapped them around a bit.. The last thing I did was drawing a little black line at the top and right of the ATC and stamping the word Mona.

I used this stamps for these ATC's.

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

  1. Wow, today is a busy day for you Corrie, a typical first of the month hey. All your pieces are fantastic!! My favourite though I think was the first one, but each of the other looks great too, this Katzelcraft stamp set is so wonderful and you certainly have done it proud here!

  3. Love your take on Mona, Corrie - they so make me smile. I'm particularly fond of the blue face with pink cheeks - such a contrast to the original. :D
