Today it is really hot here ! I think it is about 31 degrees or something like that. It is always the same isn't it; we go from winter straight into summer and back again.
I am very comfortable in my craft room and I fancied playing in the VivaLasVegaStamps! monthly challenge. So I made a postcard:
I painted the card with Dylusions paint in the colours Vibrant Turquoise, Cut Grass and I used White Linen to stencil the flowers on it. I scribbled around the flowers, spattered some white and black ink, inked the edges and stamped & clear embossed the bees. The girl was stamped separately, coloured with Copics, cut out and clear embossed. I adhered her to the card. Lastly I adhered one of Tim Holtz' chitchat stickers.
I used the following stamps:
This card is based on this mood board. The words were :
DOTS, letters and alphas, grunge, insects, moths, butterflies, spray paint, drips, splatters, paint, distressed, scribbles, black, white, lime, green, blue, turquoise, and more!
Thank you for stopping by !
You're really on a roll! Wonderful postcard. I like the scribbly bits around the flowers. I've never thought of embossing over a colored image like that. Will have to try that.
ReplyDeleteI love what the clear embossing does to the colored images!! Great postcard Corrie!
